We pulled in for a late dinner on a road trip. The restaurant is clean and staff were nice. We're from Minnesota and didn't really know how to order but it's simple enough. I ordered the 2 pc. catfish dinner. Dinners come with two sides so I got cole slaw and okra. Both were good. I tried my wife's green beans. Nothing like these in Minnesota but they're very good. The restaurant is small and decorated in Texas style. Very clean, including the bathroom.

5 stars on the grilled fish! Better than the (much mor expensive) fish I had yesterday at papadeaux! This little fish shack is delicious! Order at the counter & carry your own food to the table- quite casual. The coleslaw was heavy on the mayo if you like it creamy and the lil hush puppies are yummy!

There was catfish there. I swear. It was made after we ordered and very hot and tasty. Great hush puppies too!

Was great but is no longer in business. Another restaurant put out of business by the covid charade.

The catfish is about as good as you can get anywhere, including the pricey seafood restaurants in Beaumont.

What an awesome surprise this place was…read more Was east of here, near Beaumont, and our small group was debating where to eat lunch. We were heading back toward Houston, this place was on the way, and someone had HEARD that it was good. Good Cajun? Let's give er a try. Red beans n rice were awesome. My fish with crawfish eteouffe was MMMMM. Onion rings were killer. Sweet potato fries were okay - only thing I would order again. Service was friendly and fantastic. Decor was on point - old school oilfield with a pipeline theme, I would say. Really well done and goes perfectly in Texas country. Covered patio was great. Very much hope to stop in here again. Get some!

Some of the last surviving places in America you can feel safe and welcome. The food top notch. If you want Cajun, well you're here. If you want burgers, you are for sure here. The wings are amazing as well! Little slice of something for everyone, Let's not stop there though. The beer is cold and they have great local brews. Let's finish this slice off though with the service. Second to none. Even when sweet 93 year old Women walk in, they are welcome. Sat and severed first like it should be. I can't brag enough on this place as we were passing though. We will be back. For sure. Even if it is out of our way
