Nice little liquor store just off 159th Street. While you have to look for this place to find it -…read moresince it doesn't face 159th Street - if you are patient and make your way here it can satisfy your needs. It is a pretty typical liquor store - has a nice selection of beer, craft beer, wines, and all the usual hard liquors. Every once in awhile they have a sale on some item, so if you pay attention you might hit a nice price point. Overall fair prices. The only thing keeping this store back is that it really cannot compete with a Binny's for selection and prices. The big-box stores still rule, and these smaller mom-and-pop outlets have to work extra hard. Nice people here, loads of parking, and some attention to pandemic measures. If you are out this way and not looking for something too obscure, you may want to give it a try.

I used the restroom, came out and was shopping for alcohol. Guy from the back room came out and started hollering at me "ask the front counter next time dont just use the fucking bathroom what if something came up missing" I apologized. he kept going. Said "you wouldn't fucking do that at Bennys, don't do it here." Extremely confrontational for no reason. Good job on not having a returning customer.

I found several hard-to-find bottles and plenty of approachable everyday options. Their sales are off the chart. Compared to the prices in Portland I save on average over $10 a bottle of the high end whiskeys! Staff were friendly and genuinely helpful; they offered solid recommendations when I asked for a wine to pair with a dinner party. This store just like all Binny's are clean and well-stocked, and the layout makes it fairly easy to browse by category. Signage could be clearer in a couple of aisles to help locate specialty items faster. Every Binny's is a dependable, well-curated liquor stores!

However, I don't care for how their produce aisle is organized. I found it difficult to find the items I needed. I also noticed that they need to take better care of the plants at the entrance of the store. Pete's is located next door to Sam's Club and adjacent to Chick-fil-A, which makes it very convenient to make multiple shopping trips without driving far. The parking lot was accommodating. The service was good and very helpful. Staff were patient and friendly. I like the sales app I downloaded, which had a variety of good coupons. This is a very clean, neat, and well-stocked store.

We dared to go on Opening Day and we were glad we did ... it was a beautiful sunny day and there was a line, but it was worth the wait. If you like Pete's stores, you are going to like this one. Since it was opening day, the staffing and number of employees working every part of the business was impressive. There was an employee in almost every single aisle to answer questions or head you off in the right direction. Every cash register was being used, and each checkout line had a bagger to speed things along. Besides staff helping all through the store, management was all around to keep everything in top form. The store layout is great, but different from that of Orland Park. The Orland Park facility is pretty much square, with the aisles being almost as deep as the width of the storefront. Here in Tinley the storefront facing Harlem Avenue seems to be twice as long, and the aisles inside are a bit shorter and more numerous. The Tinley Park building is one of the first where Pete's built the layout to their specifications, instead of taking over an older big box building and repurposing it to fit their needs. As usual, when you come in the first thing you'll be greeted by is the huge section devoted to all the fresh fruit and vegetables (FFV); this seems to be a hallmark of the Pete's Fresh stores. All the meat and dairy products line the back wall, leading to all the freshly prepared foods ... dozens of serve yourself items where you can put together lunch and/or dinner to go. And of course in the center mass of the store are numerous aisles with all the standard stuff. Once again ... if you like the Pete's Fresh concept, you are going to love the new Pete's Market in Tinley Park. Recommended.
