And safety is always their top priority. BUT...the staff member that takes pictures before embarking the ferry...-1 star. She was VERY rude to me and my friend. We went around the line that was taking pictures because we didn't want a picture. Her statement to us was "THAT was very rude." I don't think she thought I heard her. Other than that, our experience was 10/10! We love Ship Island and the ferry! We will always book an excursion. This one incident will not keep us from that. The owner, Dan, was super friendly and informative for first timers! We rented two boards and our girls ages 5 and 7 sat on the front of the boards.
