Actually, before we stopped, JT had all of the rods baited and ready to drop. That guy could tie a hook on in less than a minute. Kept the fishing area clean and ready all day. He also did a great job of moving us around when we all had fish on the line. I appreciated Capt C-Bo cheering the Ohio boys on, hi-fives and getting excited for them while they were reeling them in. He and JT were really good at coaching the boys on how to get the big ones. JT cleaned and packed the fish for our drive home. We did take one bag to McElroys later that night who cooked them for us, great call C-Bo. If you are taking rookies or veterans, the fishing experience on the SYL is worth every dime.

It is smooth enough to be handicapped access though I don't recall if there was actually a ramp to get onto it. The boat ramp has a nice smooth ramp into the water with a large circle for aligning your trailer property. There is adequate parking for cars and trucks and trailers.
