I had a great experience with AE1 and will use them again for future service. At first I had an…read moreissue with my garage door not closing all the way. Bhupinder came first thing the next morning and quickly diagnosed that the issue was faulty sensors that needed to be replaced. He quickly replaced them and even helped me lubricate the tracks to help the garage door open and close more smoothly. After replacing the sensors, he informed me that my spring would need to be replaced soon, but did not pressure me to in any way. Sure enough, the spring (and cables) broke just a few weeks later and reached out to Bhupinder, who came the next day. He had all the necessary parts and equipment and was able to replace the spring, cables, and drums immediately. Everything works perfectly now, and the price/cost was very reasonable. He also informed me that my motor and chain will need to be replaced at some point but again did not pressure me to do so; in fact, he encouraged me to continue using the current motor until it gives out before replacing. When that happens, I plan to use AE1 garage door service again because Bhupinder is reliable and great to work with.

We set up an appointment for an estimate and he stopped by right on time and quickly laid out some options. For the actual repair appointment, Justin was available the same day, which was great! He did end up a little behind schedule, but that can be pretty unavoidable in a business where big install jobs are mixed in with quick, urgent jobs like ours. Justin communicated the minor delay to us well in advance, though, so we could adjust our plans. During the repair appointment, he noticed another unrelated issue with our door which he also fixed, at no cost. I especially appreciated that he probably spent as much time checking that everything was working well afterward, as he did on the repair itself.
