I wasn't able to make the high payments and asked for a lower payment plan. I was denied and she withdrew from my case days before my court hearing. I represented myself. Doing more research I found Mr. Joel Greenberg & before meeting me he spoke with me on the phone and then wanted to meet with me to hear more of my concerns! I never even met my previous lawyer face to face or zoom. Mr. Joel made me feel confident, comfortable having him to represent me. I didn't have that feeling at all with the last lawyer. I only had one 15 min call with her and was told I would have to settle for overnights. After I represented myself the dad was only awarded 3hrs every other Saturday. Fast forward 2026 my uncle is now selling the property. Do to a lack of due diligence from the buyers title company we had to drag Attorney Bain back in the mix of things and sure enough with one phone call, he dropped everything he was in the middle of to resolve the issue! While someone did reach out and discussed pricing, I later searched for that individual on the Florida Bar website and could not verify them as a licensed attorney. That immediately raised concerns. I then searched the firm itself on the Florida Bar website and found several listed attorneys. I attempted to contact one directly by phone and email, but received no response. The lack of communication and follow-through from this firm is unacceptable, especially when dealing with something as important as estate planning. Based on this experience, I canceled my LegalShield membership and chose to seek assistance elsewhere. LegalShield should seriously reevaluate its partnership with this firm, as their communication and responsiveness fall far below professional standards.
