We came here while searching for a new-to-us vehicle. The staff were all friendly and not overly pushy. It was a low pressure environment, which is very much appreciated. Their parking lot is absolutely slammed, and they could use a bigger lot. It's simply chaotic, but somehow organized (at least to them) at the same time. They have to maneuver some vehicles around to get others out for test drives, kind of like a giant game of Tetris - especially if you add your vehicle to the area as well. Luckily, they had some good deals and it was worth the experience. I would consider coming back here again when searching for our next vehicle. read more

I had a horrible experience with this dealership. I purchased a truck with cash, and within 6 hours, the engine failed completely. I had the vehicle towed back to the dealership the very same day because it was no longer drivable. Instead of standing behind the vehicle they sold me, Max and Rey (who no longer works there) told me the engine failure was somehow my fault. They refused to refund my money and insisted that I would have to pay for a replacement engine. Rather than making the situation right, they took the $7,500 I had paid in cash and applied it as a down payment on another vehicle. To make matters worse, I believe they significantly overcharged me for that vehicle. The truck was worth around $9,000, yet I ended up being financed for approximately $17,000. I felt pressured, taken advantage of, and completely disregarded as a customer. The way I was treated throughout this ordeal was unprofessional and unfair. In December of last year I purchased a jaguar xjl a month later wheel bearing went out after a month max got it fixed that following month the transfer case. I wasn't satisfied with the car. Max allowed me to trade for another one and of course another 4,500 down payment after driving the car for one day to see if I was ok with the trade that night the fuel line was leaking gas had it towed the next morning a few weeks later the motor slung a rod motor was shot. Since the car I paid for came with warranty and they dropped the ball and didn't file the paperwork to cover the warranty after a month they gave me the run around until I called the warranty company and they told me that the paperwork was not filed on time (same day of purchase or the day after) after about a month and three months a total of six two week payments with out a car for a bout a month got the car back went to Birmingham where I have children and in my way back to Atlanta where I reside the battery light came on and I was stranded at the Georgia state line. I was truly disappointed to the point I just told the tow truck driver to drop it off and leave it. So after a few months from my first review I was called from carsonline about my review I posted on their website and was asked to take it down. I said why cause it's the truth and what would it take to take it down all I asked was for half of my down payment back which was 1,920 so roughly 2,000 dollars. Max did not agree with that but offered maintenance on my 6 series bmw. I said NO way I'm letting you under my car period. I called again referring to what we talk about and as usual Max is not in I sent you a text never got a text. All lies and BS not again staying true to your word about my request but mind you I didn't call you, you called me. Long story shor, you can take your chances buying a car from these people who have more cars in their lot that's not running than the cars they have that running You will be truly disappointed if you purchase a vehicle from them. If I could post photos and paperwork as many time I've had this car towe'd it would blow your mind. So world if advice if you have a short temper don't buy from this lot. So I purchased my GL550 a little over a year ago. Upon the purchase, the owner, Max, told me and my husband that he would get my sunroof fixed because it was cracked. Needless to say it never happened. I reminded him, he assured me that he would fix it because he does right by his customers. I got to the point to where I paid my loan off, begun to call the dealership again to speak with Max to set the appointment and the employees acted as if he wasn't there, saying he's not on site or in a meeting. So I originally saw a 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Dynamic for sale online with relatively low miles for the year (79,732). We called and inquired about it and eventually, they were willing to work with my wife with her particular credit situation. The receptionist from start to finish was extremely polite and professional. They agreed that if we put down half of the $14,999 they could work with us. So I took $7,500 in cash and drove a 1 hour and a half to the dealership. When we got there again the receptionist was great. She went around back and brought the Land Rover up front. It was pretty much downhill from there. It looked nothing like the picture, it was filthy, and the passenger-side wheel trimming was held in place by a small industrial hex bolt. The passenger-side mirror was spray-painted, you could even see where the paint drip-dried. One of the center caps was held in place by another hex bolt, and part of the driver-side door handle was broken off. There was no spare tire, and when I checked the oil the dipstick was extremely low. Just overall dirty and I was so surprised that a dealership would have someone come out and look at such a disaster of a vehicle. So, the receptionist decided to show us some other cars and SUVs and unfortunately, they were all equally terrible. Even the last car which was an Audi A7 that was halfway decent turned out to be crap when I went to adjust the rearview mirror it fell completely off. At that point, we were done. I went to the side and them what happened and they offered to put the mirror back on. I declined and then the owner (Max) he said his name was proceeded to tell me that my expectations were too high and that I should take my $7,500 and go down the street to the Land Rover dealership and tell them he sent me and they would give me a good deal. Which I found to be condescending and rude because me and my wife, and my kids drove an hour and a half to come to see this vehicle. Now, I understand all used vehicles have some flaws, and maybe even minor issues, but I have never seen anything like this place in my life! It reminded me of the father from the movie Matilda. I would advise anyone who values their hard-earned money to avoid this place at all costs. In hindsight, the vehicles are luxury cars and looked OK from a distance but after further inspection, they are terrible. I would give Max Mehr and Car Online zero stars if I could. I purchased a 2006 Volkswagen Pssaat from Max Mehr and Car Online on January 20,2021 for my daughter. The car began to fall apart (literally) within a month. See pictures. On March 17, the car was towed by AAA to Max at Car Online for serpentine belt, check engine ligh, cam shaft issues etc. Max lied, connived, deceived and manipulated my daughter constantly telling her and I that he was going to repair the car. All the while he was just letting the car sit and refused to check it out. He went on to say he would give her a car comparable to what we paid which was $4500.00 cash. He never kept his word and is a gross unethical businessman/owner. I am literally in awe because I purchased a Lexus from him in 2015 and it had some issues too. However, he repaired the car and returned it to me. I cannot understand how much he has changed in 6 years. He have threatened us, been so belligerant, hostile, and combative. I have asked him to refund my monies and he wanted to keep $1000.00 of our monies. Nevertheless, we have no vehicle because it is still sitting broke down at his place. We do not have our money and I cannot see how he can sleep with himself to handle a repeat customer this way. I have reported Car Online and Max Mehr to the Better Business Bureau to investigate and I am warning anyone who is reading this to steer clear of this man and his business. I took it into the Volkswagen dealership today to find out I have to spend 5,000 in repairs after paying 11,000 for the car itself. The price was fair, in line with Kelly Blue Book, and the dropped the price a little for a cracked windshield. They're a bit surly but what they lack in friendliness they make up for in honesty. Went to test drive a BMW 3 series & when I was on the way I was at the red light & looked on the side of me & a dude was in a BMW 5 series at the light & the car was sooooo loud like it was gonna just fall apart ! Because he was outside working on the car before I got in it . When he finally came from the Back he tells me that his co worker is taking it for a spin first ! I'm like what in the world something must be seriously wrong if he has to test drive it himself first . Anyway the guy came back with the car sounding like a motor cycle & he instructs me not to switch the car off ! I'm like why would I buy something that I can't switch on & off if I'm test driving the car , he then tells me the battery may go dead because it's been sitting , I drove the car 2 min down the road & the brake light came on & another light that means car is overheating , I pulled in a parking lot & popped the hood & OMG ! It sounded like a machine gun under there & a lawn mower mixed together ! Air was blowing from under the hood like wind . The entire inside of the car was all beat up ! I don't see how these guys sleep at night after getting people money for these broken cars . My son bought a car two months ago from this place. Two weeks later he was stranded and had to have it towed. Needless to say, we had this car checked out by Pep boys before we purchased it. Online cars gave us a three month warranted that is worthless.So far we have replaced spark plugs, two thermostats and today the car wont start and it is still overheating.Back to the shop we go again!!! I found a car from auto trader that was posted by Car Online. I went to see the car it looked okay, I test drove it, asked about the transmission and engine. Of course they said everything was fine with the car. I purchased the car and about a week later the car started having transmission issues. CLEARLY THEY LIED ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION! I contacted the manager Max and he recommend I had to go to a transmission shop where they were SUPPOSED to rebuild the transmission. After picking my car up from the transmission shop the 1ST time I thought everything was fixed. So about two weeks later I was getting a oil change and the guy had my car up on a lift and showed me that my transmission was leaking everywhere! I was pissed so this means I got a crappy car from car online and the people a certified transmissions( on lower Roswell rd) didn't do their job correctly. I called max he told me to take it back to certified transmissions. I took the car back for the 2ND time! And of course after they "supposedly" fixed the leak. I had it checked out and it was still leaking a week later again. So I ended up selling that piece of garbage car for more than what I paid for it two months later! STAY AWAY! Very unprofessional business! They don't treat the customers like they should and they try to blame everything on everyone else! I bought a decent car from them at a fair price and its been nothing but a huge hassle since. The car was fine; needed a few minor repairs (about $400), which is understandable for buy as is. But they have botched every bit of customer service. The salesmen were rude, and the dealership acts like they have never sold a car before. I used a loan check from my bank that got messed up by the dealership, and it took them 2 weeks to let me know this. Then they tried to fix it, but it was too late to fix it. So, after another 2 weeks, I had to cancel my loan check and get another one which took extra time. At this point my temp tags had expired, and they would not send me a new issue b/c "it wasn't their fault." A week later I had the new check to them so they could send me the title. They waited 2 days to cash the check and another day to mail the title, which was missing another document needed for me to register my car. I asked them to overnight the title to me which they did not, and it took 4 days in the mail to get to me. Then I called them to get the other document, which they took 2 days to get and were supposed to overnight to me which they did not. I'm still waiting for everything so I can simply register my car, and its been 55 days. That's pretty pathetic. On top of everything else they gave me a false carfax which I had to argue to get. I found out that my car has had some bad history that they lied about. All in all, stay away! These guys suck! read more

My experience here was terrible. They tell you to do an online application and you never hear back from the guys at the dealership. Then when you call to ask the status of the credit app, they just give you the run around saying that you didn't list this or that on the application. It's straight bullshit.
