However, the prices did seem a bit expensive and I am sure that you could get the same items cheaper in bigger chain stores such as Halfords, but if you want to help out you local businesses, and have a more personal conversation with the owner about looking exactly what you want, it is well worth to spend the couple of pounds more and saving yourself a longer journey time.

Awful customer service made for an extremely stressful day…read more Had to speak to a manager to buy a bike as two of the people working in the shop floor tried to convince me that it could not be bought even though I had reserved it online via click and collect. This followed with some rude and unprofessional shop attendants making matters worse. Then, after taking it home my bike fanatic brother took a look and observed that a few parts of the bike were in fact missing. I shall be returning this bike to another store tomorrow as I don't want anything to do with this company or store.

They seem incapable of delivering any element of their service to the timings they suggest, are not able to offer any half decent customer service out with the hours of 9-5 M-F so if you work you are in trouble. The products they sell are normally of a good standard but their appauling customer service means I will be going to the Edinburgh Bike Co-operative next time!
