I chose Meadowfield due to the offer of bonus Tesco points , however now that I have had experience of service from this family run business, I would most certainly not hesitate to use them in the future. The initial online booking was a very smooth,informative process with clear instructions and advice given. I was given a time to take my vehicle into the garage, and on doing so I was immediately attended to by a polite,courteous mechanic and was offered either to wait for the tyres to be replaced or to come back within a short time. I chose the first and sat in their bright, little cabin while the job was carried out. Every now and again someone popped in, always with a friendly smile. After about 40 mins, another friendly face came in to tell me the job was finished and I was ready to go - not only new tyres fitted but also 'perfectly balanced' after I may have 'set them off a bit' , probably hit a kerb or something!! Well for me any way I often feel that they are going to take advantage of me not knowing what I am talkign about and charge me the earth. Never been disappointed , never been 'ripped off' always treated as though my business was greatly appreciated. Never had to return for a suspect repair . This is a small garage , and can get very busy , so be prepared to have to wait ,better still book an appointment in advance . They work a lot on local Taxis , so this can make it even busier , but quality of work means this is not a surprise . I have used a lot of different mechanics over the years , and like all others , always got the feeling they were fleecing me. Try this garage , and report back here so everyone can judge . Called Colin after 22:00 for help with towing me and my broken down car back to my house. He…read morearrived incredibly fast, was very professional/helpful and offered some expert advice for me moving forward. I had some issues trying to get payment to him (which is embarrassing for anyone) but Colin was very patient with me and it really meant a lot how unhurried he was when it came time to pay. Prices are completely reasonable and fair for the services he gives. Don't think you'd be able to find someone cheaper than he is to recover you. I would not recommend ANYONE else except Colin if you need a 24 hour recovery service. He is the best of the best and I appreciate everything he did for me and how professional and fast he was. 20/10 as 10/10 just doesn't seem enough. Thanks very much for everything, Colin.
