Being a AAA member, I first called them, but the dispatcher couldn't find a provider (tower) to come out to Deer Island for at least 90 minutes + an additional 90 minutes to 2 hours for a driver to show up. Unfortunately, the same thing with BMW Assist, except they never followed up on their dispatch call, like AAA did. And, another local competitor (Lake in the name) didn't have anyone to come out for "at least 5-6 hours". At 12:30 AM, I called All County Towing (ACT) and spoke to Brandon, and the experience was like night-and-day compared to the other 3 companies. Brandon was ready, willing and able to send his driver Dustin within 45 minutes of my calling. He said it would cost $150 and they accept credit cards. Dustin was there in 40 minutes (1:10 AM). Per my request, Dustin was careful not to damage the newly-paved road in front of our property with the drop fork, in which I gave him a $50 tip, because of the excellent service. Fortunately, with State Farm homeowner's insurance, I'll be reimbursed for the towing bill (since the incident occurred on my property). I'll definitely use ACT's service in the future. We hit a huge pothole in the middle of the highway on Epcot Center Drive, causing our tire to…read moreexplode. We had a full vehicle of people on the side of a busy highway. We filed a AAA claim to get assistance and also called the police. Within minutes, Nate F. called us to first see if we were okay and confirm our location. We]called the police due to our location on the highway being extremely unsafe and no space to change the tire. The officer arrived and then left us! We couldn't believe he wasn't going to keep his lights on to not only protect us from getting hit by oncoming traffic but also prevent other drivers from hitting the same pothole. Within minutes, Nate arrived, immediately had his flashing lights on, and started diverting traffic to keep everyone in the safest position possible, given the situation. He then changed our tire and helped us get merged back onto the highway safely. He was our HERO of the day! MOE, Nate deserves a HUGE bonus or raise! He was amazing!!

Hi Tech towed it 10 minutes from here and is charging $300 to get it back. THIS IS A SCAM! This is out of some Griswald vacation movie. Lake of the Ozarks scam. The condo complex and/or security probably gets some sort of kickback BECAUSE there is no way to justify this. Its robbery and unclear to me how this is legal. If $300 is ok then why not $1000 or $5000. Seems insane that they get away with this.

(A flatbed tow is pretty straightforward and definitely a much less risky proposition than a two-wheel tow with dollies, which is what their rates compared to. In other words, if you can get a flatbed tow for the same price as a lift tow, definitely take the flatbed tow! Jomar was very professional, accurately set my expectations as to when I should expect arrive of the truck, and provided a proper invoice immediately after asking. TL;DR: compared to local competition for the same service that cost more from people who were kind of rude over the phone, choosing JVM was a no-brainer. I'll definitely call J again if I need roadside help!
