He agreed to help us right away. My son drove our vehicle over and he was completely taken care of within 30 mins and they even did the service at a very reasonable price. Super helpful. read more

These guys are not just great people they were heroes to us! We were on the return leg of our cross-country road trip from California to Canada and back again (in total about a 7,000 mile planned trip) pulling our RV behind us. We were coming across the Plains while trying to dodge major traffic through the large cities when suddenly, without any previous warning we had our battery light go on and our electrical system power dropped by a third. It was, literally, the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning, when naturally so many auto repair shops are closed for the weekend. What the hell were we gonna do at that hour and why the heck do this things always happen at these weird times?!??! We stopped at the AutoZone at the nearest town, Lebanon, Missouri. They tested the battery for us and told us that it only had a remaining 3% charge. They were not sure if it was the battery or the alternator causing the problem. They suggested we go to Car-X, down the street. Even though it was before their stated hours listed online we called. Randy, the manager on duty answered and was empathetic, interested and efficient. He told us that they were going to be open in about 15 mins and that while he had a couple of cars already there, he would get us handled as quickly as possible. And so he did! We arrived a few minutes before they opened, Randy immediately discussed the situation and the symptoms with us. He then sent Steven out to run a diagnostic. Steven diagnosed the problem and thoroughly explained what the issue was and what they could do to get us back on the road. Within minutes Kevin was having us pull in the garage and was changing out the battery and then he and and Steven addressed some odd charging anomalies, jumped on the Internet did a bit of well-pointed research, figured out how to fix the additionally oddities that were occurring in our charging system and we were ready to jump back on the road. And all for a very fair price! These wonderful guys were salt-of-the-earth, great-hearted, kind and completely committed to making their customer feel safe, taken care of and that everything was gonna be just fine! You are in excellent hands when you bring your car to Car-X of Lebanon, Missouri! Thank you guys, again, for making what could have been a trip-gutting and arduous set of problems seem so simple and easy to handle. I have never made a Yelp review. As a matter of fact I think I made a Yelp account in high school under a different name than my own just to see other people's ratings. But I felt compelled to do so because of the exemplary service of this shop. While driving from Ohio to California, my AC went out and Check Engine light came on in the middle of Missouri and on a very hot day. The shop (ran by Kent, I believe) was one of the few businesses open on a Saturday, and they took me in and had me out of there in a few hours. They were honest about the extent of my cars troubles and fixed it as soon as they were able, with many other stranded out of towners in the shop there as well. Very thankful for their service! read more

My family and I were traveling, in two cars, from St. Louis to Branson. My husband, who was driving the second vehicle behind me, called me to say that something was vibrating beneath my car. And indeed, we could feel it. So we pulled off the highway at the nearest exit to check it out. My spare tire, which is fastened underneath the center of my minivan, was about to fall off. It was after 5 pm, and the only place nearby that was still open was Sawyer Tire. I called, and they told me to bring my car straight over. They assessed my van, agreed that it was only the spare coming loose, and proceeded to fix it for me right away. They refused to take payment for their time or services, and just told me to have an enjoyable trip. Fantastic guys, beautifully run business!! They saved the day, and saved our trip to Branson. I can't imagine what would have happened if my spare had come off while driving 80 mph down the highway, with my husband and son in the vehicle behind us! I look at several things that pros notice quickly It was. Close to lunch on a Saturday but I was Taken care of promptly and was given a very comparative bid on Lt truck tires as well. I noticed while I was at location that the shop was clean well set up and had very friendly staff. That took the time to assist 2 customers with issues With no charges one to replace a simple headlamp insert and one to check all her tire pressures Inc the spare . My wife and I were on our way to Pomme de Terre Lake when we had a blow out on our camper. When we stopped in Lebanon for lunch, I searched for tire shops and found that Sawyer was close to where we were. We stopped in and told them our situation and they jumped right in to help us out. My 5th wheel RV trailer broke an axle in Lebanon MO in June of 2016. We had pulled into a parking lot to survey the damage, and there was a Sawyer tire in the same parking lot. They looked at it and gave us the bad news. A "tire" place would not have been my 1st choice to work on our RV, but loading the RV on a trailer to take it somewhere else would have been next to impossible to arrange given that we needed to be back in TX the next day. For whatever reason, I trusted Larry and his crew when they said they could replace the axle, and I'm glad I did. There were a few hiccups during the repair, but Larry always handled them honestly and fairly, and did what he said he was going to do. I think there would have been as many or more issues at an RV repair place based on past experience, and I don't think I would have gotten as good an end result (Sawyer upgraded both axles to a heavier weight rating per my wishes- an RV place generally would have replaced with stock). When we came back to Lebanon to pick the trailer up, there were no surprises-either on the bill or the quality of the work. Like I said there were a few hiccups (at no additional cost to me), but I can't say enough about Larry's integrity. I was between a rock and a hard place yet I feel Larry and Sawyer treated me fairly and honestly. read more
