We go big on birthday celebrations in our house so when I first heard about Card My Yard knew my kiddos would love it. I also knew my husband would hate the obnoxiousness of it, but...not his bday ;) Jen sets the cards up late at night (around 10pm). She was so quiet that I would never know she was there except when my ring went off when she left something at our door, but fortunately didn't wake the kids so it was still a surprise for them. When my daughter woke up on her 9th bday we started her annual bday scavenger hunt where she finds the same # of gifts as her age. It seemed like a great idea when I started this tradition at age 2 and I couldn't quite imagine having a 9 year old. I hid one of the gifts in the mailbox outside so she could see the sign in all its glory. Her mouth dropped open and she quickly forgot about her scavenger hunt and insisted on taking a billion pics in front of her new sign. She loved it even more when the school bus stopped at her house and everyone started singing happy birthday because of the sign. All day long I received many texts saying how cool the sign was and wishing my daughter a happy birthday. As someone who loves attention and her bday my daughter couldn't have been more thrilled. And I think she was sad when Jen took the sign away that night since that meant her favorite day of the year had ended. A few weeks later my son celebrated his 7th birthday. He asked me everyday leading up to his bday if he could get a sign too...and how could I resist. I put him to bed the night before his birthday, but later found him watching the set up from his window because he was too excited to sleep. So it wasn't as much of a surprise for him, but he was still just as excited the next morning. And the next week my other son turned 4! November/December is a busy time in my house! This time i skipped the sign thinking if you can't read...no sign! However, when he woke up the next morning and realized he didn't get a sign like his sister and brothers burst into tears. And so next year they'll be signs for everyone! It's such a fun way to make kids (or even adults) feel extra special on their bday. And I've seen even more of these during our current quarantine situation due to Covid-19. Highly recommend her services now and always! read more

Best birthday gift EVER! Living out of town from my nephew is always a challenge at birthday time. Add in a coronavirus and him being a new new teenager...I was in a tizzy! I cannot begin to thank Tracy for the AMAZING job she did in saving Henry's birthday! He loves colors and celebrations! The poor kid had to cancel his party and we didn't know what to do to make it extra special. I found Tracy and Card My Yard online and she was so easy to work with. She customized Henry's huge yard sign, including colors he likes as well as basketballs for his favorite sport these days. She went the night before to set it all up and was so good even the two dogs, who usually report a leaf falling out of the tree, didn't hear her! Henry was so happily surprised the next morning when he woke up. Not only did Tracy include this amazing sign for our nephew, she added a special message from us for his day. Beyond impressed with this company. This was the first time I had ever used a yard sign to celebrate an occasion at my home. The ordering process online was super easy and their follow up emails and communications from before delivery to after the display went up was fantastic. This was a surprise for my daughter and I very much appreciated their email letting me know the time slot they'd be coming to my house so that I could make sure my daughter was inside. They also texted me a picture of the sign as soon as they put it up and took it down at nightfall so as to get the full use of the sign.
