So I come to this market often and today I grabbed some paletas that had a sale price tag on the shelf. As I walk to my car I check my receipt and it said 10.99 so I go back in the market ask who can I talk to about being over charged and a cashier said me as I'm tell her that I was over charged she we have no more of those paletas and how I grabbed the wrong ones I said no I grabbed them from that shelf. So then I ask to speak to a manager .Then manager Rene tells me he will not honor the price i said look it not my fault your employees are not doing there job . I hope you guys check your receipts when shopping here .I did contact their corporate office .All employees at this store need to be trained in customer service .they are lucky I don't work for weights and measures. read more

Pollo Asado=disappointing. I do like this store for a variety of reason, and always go back. The focus of this review is one aspect of the hot food/deli area. Today we took advantage of a Pollo Asado special, legs and thighs plus the fixings like rice and beans. Got to say we were insulted by that bucket of chicken! What a shame. Dry overcooked legs and thighs, every piece was like gnawing on jerky meat. (All 16 pieces!). You would think they would show some pride and quality control over what they provide to customers. To top it off, they forgot to include the flour tortillas that were supposed to go with our meal. Bottom line: beware the grilled chicken. read more

Horrible horrible store . They say if you want to enjoy your food purvhased at the deli you have to do it INSIDE THE STORE TO AVOID LOITERING ! The security lady was rude and called the cops on me in order to get me to leave ...when as she demanded i leave because i was loitering i mentioned i made a purchase i made a purchase.. when she still demanded i leave ...i googled loitering to see if my purchase affected it or not...but as i looked up there was a cop saying oh security called me . I said hey can you please tell me if you know if im still loitering if ive bought something ...what exactly defines loitering ...he wasny sure...so i asked would i be allowed to talk to a managerto see if the situation could be resolved.the officer allowed me It took forever to get any manager and when i did he was CLUELESS. So i ended up going out side again to calll the property owner to get the number to the security company she chased me every where she refused to give a name or company name when i requested ...she called cops AGAIN. ..SO I WENT TO THE NEXT SHADE COVERED SPOT I COULD FIND TO CALL THE NUMBER .when they answered i asked for the number to the sexurity company .ended up being handed that horrible security womans who had been chasing me's personal number called it thinking it was the company...found it was her and she demanded i get off the demanded i say how i got the number demanded i identify myself ...get of the property get off the property. I stated im not on the fuckin property and i got the number from the fuckin owner. She didnt hear me over her own demands to have me get off the property. I hung up but found out she works for cps security as per how she answered the phone "cps security " So i googled cps security called them reported it ...and said i dont ever want to go back there again. The fucked up part is this bitch patrols the whole lot ...not just rancho market... so now i cant even go to my dentist or pay my phone bill without fear of her chasing me til kingdom come. Shoppers beware. Rancho market only allows you to use the tables INSIDE THE STORE to not be called loitering and arrested if you dont leave . Avoid this location if you plan to sit for a bit ...amd dont you date try to even relax at their outdoor tables ...not even for an hour .. The security will chase you like a pissed off rabid raccoon...if your not waiting for a cab. This security does not care about people or keeping peace ...she cares only about taking the easy road . Dont trust this location... A location is only as good as its security. RUN . And go the extra bit across the street to food city ...its just not worth the shit you get from this woman.. The food city security people are very kind to you and not mean right way until they HAVE TO BE . I will not be returning to Rancho market ...and as soon as i get settled i am changing to metro pcs ...so i dont hace ti go back to the home of crybaby dime droppers with rules so strict it'd make a nun go back to re purify herself. This woman treated me like a sewer rat not a human being . Food city here i come to stay and lady...your gonna get your karma one day...so better be nicer so it is kinder when it does. This is by far the worst Ranch Market in all phoenix. Their meat is not fresh. Funny thing: a couple weeks ago i stop by to buy some cachete(beef cheeks...its not gross at all, pretty good on the crock pot in tacos). When i asked the lady for it she looked at it and told me in spanish "I'm embarrassed to sell you this meat, it looks horrible and smells weird " I'm glad she was honest and I'm sure its not up to her to take that meat out(ranch market its all about making money regardless of quality). I opted to get something else thanks to this wonderful lady....regardless this location is always lacking freshness and their seasoning on the meats its off point, as if the workers or location puts no attention to detail or quality. read more

Would love to gladly explain how the worker working on February 12th for the cash registers where at night. I wanna remind you that I have had a long day already planning to finish my shopping for our gender reveal which she now interfered with because of the time It was. I forgot my card at home in Other words that's fine I am the rightful owner of this card that I will be purchasing my goods with I repeatedly to ask the manager If she could give me the option to dial my card number in cause I know it in my head. She told me she can't do that yes you can actually because if a card don't work it don't work but the 2 option you choose is manually enter if your know you have funds. She replies fly told me she does not have enough training and she can't figure this situation. Oh I thought well you guys should have pretty good chorizo. No it was the most flavorless chorizo I've ever had in my life, do not buy the beef chorizo No heat no spice I will go to frys or Safeway they have better chorizo that has heat and flavor. Food City has really good chorizo too but they are not kidding when it comes to the hot one that sucker is really hot with pieces of jalapenos in it so I always mix it half mild half hot. read more

All I have to say is the store director Michael knows how to make sure any mistakes are resolved and taken care of. Michael went out of his way to make sure our daughter received the correct cake and even had his team go out of their way to deliver it. I really with we had one close to us out here in Surprise! The prices are great! I stopped in to grab a healthy quick lunch for the hubby and I to have as a picnic :) whole grilled chicken, big (fresh and sweet) fruit salad, enormous beet/carrot/apple/celery juice and we were set under $20, more like $16!! The worse food and service I've had in a long time. An employee insisted pupusas and a gordita are the same thing. They are not. And neither one tasted as it should. The food is tasteless and overpriced. To make matters worse, I asked twice if the drinks came with refills, I was told yes, only to be charged at the end. I usually go to the one on Roosevelt and decided to give this one a chance. I Got 2 tacos and 4 tamales. Tacos weren't bad, but the tamale didn't have pork meat in it. It had flavored gelatin. I was excited to come and eat here as I heard so many wonderful things about the food. Immediately upon arrival I checked in and noted what I would get to eat. My friends and I were standing at the counter waiting for service when the staff began helping others and then again others. They did not even acknowledge us. If you're looking to have Mexican food catered at your next party....Go see Umberto!! From the very beginning he was so helpful with a payment plan that worked for me to suggesting entrees that worked well with my menu. He had me sample items I was unsure about and offered 1 free item with a few of my selections. He was so helpful and took my stress about catering for my large group completely away. The day prior to me picking up my food order I forgot about the guacamole so I called to add it to the order. I had to leave a voicemail at the store bc Umberto was out. The next day I went early so that I could get my additional item ordered and still be timely but Umberto assured me that he received my voicemail and has it all ready. He had a staff of 4 men escort me out to my vehicle with all my food. They loaded it up for me and stood there waving goodbye and thanking me for my service as I drove away. I received so many compliments on the food and everybody wanted to know who catered the party but to top it off, I had so much food leftover. The portion size was very generous!
