Up until 3 or 4 months ago Myself and My Family Loved this place, the last time I was there I got a burnt order of 3 pounds of carne asada, the burnt meat I could handle, what wasn't acceptable was the meat tasted old, verified by continuously passing gas, the meat was thrown away the next day. I walked into a carnicería expecting fresh cuts, bold seasoning, and the kind of food that makes you trust your life choices. What I got instead was a masterclass in disappointment. The meat looked like it had been sitting there long enough to think about its past. The carne asada was gray, tough, and completely unseasoned--as if salt personally offended the cook. I've chewed gum with more flavor and tenderness. The tacos were a tragedy. Greasy but dry (how??), slapped onto tortillas that tasted store-bought and stale. The salsa bar was a sad lineup of watery sauces that all somehow tasted the same: like tomatoes that gave up. The place itself wasn't much better. Sticky counters, questionable cleanliness, and a smell that made me rethink eating anything that came from behind the glass. If this is where the meat is prepared, I fear for my future. Service was rushed and unfriendly, like they were annoyed customers existed at all. No recommendations, no care--just "next" energy. A carnicería should be the one place you can't mess up meat. Man- I LOVE this place. I just am so happy whenever I find a small business like this to support. Not only is it a restaurant, but a mini store as well. The food is just straight FIRE. It is on the pricier side but friends, when I tell you that it's worth it- IT IS WORTH IT!! I always get a carne asada burrito with rice and beans and they load that sucker up FULL. The meat is also incredibly delicious! The red sauce is also one of the best I've had. Super spicy, but man is it flavorful! I have had nothing but exceptional service every time I come here as well. completely amazing food. made my mouth water right when i walked in and my stomach growled looking at all the amazing food. when i bit into the tacos it felt like my tongue had been blessed with flavor. truly an outstanding experience and don't get me started on the service. the service was kind and amazingly helpful to me. me being an ignorant person to food they recommended good food options and i loved all of it. the ambiance was beautiful and so clean. so put together and the salsa bar was so neat and organized. i loved everything truly a 10/10 read more

I ordered 2 lbs of the carne asada. Pros: Meat was nice and hot when it arrived. An order included 4 jalapeño peppers (seemed deep fried, not grilled or roasted). Cons: Lower quality meat which reflected the price, the meat was not tender at all and deceptively juicy until it cooled down, it became very dry quickly. It did have a great amount of salt, but not flavor, which indicated that the meat was not grilled over charcoal (hence the name, carne asada) but rather prepared over a griddle. Adding to this are the big chunks of fat I received with my order. Overpriced, disgusting meat and the people running it were so loud and corriente, I asked my brother to pick up the food I had ordered and they only gave him the chicken burrito and the consome, I ordered a combo of barbacoa which comes with the barbacoa meat, rice, beans and 2 small containers of salsa, with 20 tortillas definitely not worth the price, I called them and I tell them in Spanish "hello my brother picked up my order and I didn't receive the entire order" the girl taking my call asked another women, "hey there's was an order online for pick up and they're saying you didn't give them the entire order" still on the phone I can hear their entire conversation the other women on the phone screaming all in Spanish "that's not true I gave them their order I gave them order how am I not going to give them their entire order" the women who answered the phone responds to her on a lower whispering voice saying "isn't that the rest of their order, comes back to me and says give me 1 min. I'm going to put you on hold" mind you I can still hear the other women screaming I gave it to them they're lying, just for her to come back to me and say hey the other lady is saying she gave you the order, and I told them I don't have a reason to lie to you run your cameras, I gave them the description of my brother, puts me on hold, and comes back to me again and says ok come pick up the rest of your order, which was the barbacoa meat, rice, beans, salsa and the tortillas were all missing. My brother goes and picks up the order and they're just standing there laughing at him saying I hope it's still "warm enough for you". We start eating the food and it tasted disgusting almost rancid and it went bad the very next day the food smell spoiled!! $40.99 down the drain!!! Horrific experience disgusting food gave me food poising I contacted department of health, and reported them to city of Phoenix they need to be more clean, I don't know if they did something to the food or what but I was very polite on the phone with them I never insulted them for anything. Go elsewhere this place could get real people sick smh any other carniceria than this place. Good luck read more

I'm not a fan of eating from a carnicería. Normally I'll buy my cuts of meat and cook at home. I've tried their warm food once and never again. They need to stay away from the salt shakers. If I could give them a 0 star i would and the beans are nasty who in their right mind uses peprika in their beans. Beans aren't supposed to be red tint color. This place is like a walking out to your back patio on a hot summer day. They have no AC running you can see their employees sweating from how hot this place is. I couldn't stand being there for more then the time I had to pay and walk out. This place can give a bad name to all carnicería. Their salsa sitting in the containers looks like it boiling from it going bad. Last note the food sitting in the warmer looks like they cooked it a week ago. Will i come here again nope. I initially tried this place because my coworker brought it for catering at my work. The carne asada was so good I had to go there myself. They loaded up the tacos real good and it's a good value. This place is authentically legitimate. I've loved EVERYTHING I've tried here. Tacos are phenomenal, their meal packages are amazing quality and priced more than fairly. I literally am in a pickle each time I visit this place bc everything looks so good I end up stuttering through the order bc I cant make a decision. And the staff there are very nice and will accommodate you (they speak mainly Spanish but will work with you). Completely disappointment with Carniceria Mi Casita. This used to be my "Go To" place but lately it has disappointed me and left me dissatisfied with all the fat in the meat. I ordered three pounds of carne asada which came with tortillas two different salsas and rice and beans for $30.99 the meat is incredibly good and very tender and tasty I am more than impressed with this place not to mention the friendly service that I received the staff was extremely helpful and kind .......... I will definitely be back for more and the lovely lady that helped me was more than happy to chop the meat up for me which saved me a lot of prep time I was able to bring all the stuff home and eat right away read more

Although the first time Ii ordered from here was not too bad an experience(the only problem was the pico de gallo was there, but it was just the juice, no actual tomato, onion, cilantro, or anything else was present), I must say I won't be eating here after the second, third or 4th attempt to order food. Of the female workers I've dealt with here, the first girl was pleasant and helpful, . However I've gotten the same other girl the last 3 times, if I knew her name I'd tell you, but SHE IS HORRIBLY RACIST AGAINST ANYONE NON-HISPANIC,.
