I attended a family wedding at the weekend, with both the ceremony and the reception taking place there. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into the exterior. Classy fairylights (yes, they exist) decorated the trees, wooden walkways and external seating areas. The well-cared for pond, seating area and grounds are bathed in mood lighting, and romantic music is played late into the night. Perfect for a spot of dancing away from the crowds. The staff were excellent, and the reception took place in a beautiful room with a ceiling covered in twinkly lights. The food was nice and fairly fast. The only downside was the smaller bar and the short supply of bread rolls. For a smaller wedding (Under 150 guests) this is the perfect, intimate venue. Plus you can hit up W-S-M pier the next day. Which, obviously, is the best way to get rid of a hangover.

When we did finally get a treatment they over charged for a treatment that wasn't given. Our room wasn't serviced as house keeping was under staffed. The bedside lamp didnt have a bulb in it. There weren't enough towels for 2 people...etc. Just very under staffed. Also the restaurant menu was very limited & not the best food. So we had a pleasant stay but with more attention to detail, it could be a lot better. For those reasons I give 4 stars instead of 5.

Wanted to put this review on here as I wasted my time at so many shows that promised the earth and delivered nothing. At the show I managed to get over 70% of my wedding needs sorted on the day as there was about 100 exhibitors instead of the normal 10 or 20. The catwalk shows were really good too:)) The bridal register that is free also helped out after the fayre as I get monthly emails with offers on, so decided to book my video and got 10% discount. Will definitely be recommending the March fayres to anyone that has decided to tie the knot - fab day out!

I was a bit nervous about how my mum would react to a male stripper at her party, but Lucy assured me that Sidney was very professional and would make sure that everyone felt comfortable. She also helped me choose the perfect outfit for Sidney to wear to match the party's theme, which was a black and gold affair. On the day of the party, Sidney arrived early to set up and make sure everything was in order. He was very polite and professional, which immediately put me at ease. He even helped me set up some decorations, which was above and beyond what I expected. When the time came for Sidney to perform, he did not disappoint. He was an incredible dancer and had all of the women at the party cheering and hollering. My mum was a bit surprised at first, but she quickly got into the spirit of things and even got up to dance with Sidney. It was a moment that we will all remember for years to come. Sidney was not only an amazing performer but also very respectful and considerate. He made sure that everyone was comfortable and having a good time. He even stayed after his performance to take photos with everyone and answer any questions that we had. Overall, I cannot recommend Entertainment UK and Sidney enough. Lucy was extremely helpful and made the booking process very easy. Sidney was a true professional and made my mum's 60th birthday party one to remember. The venue was a 5 star hotel with amazing facilities and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The night kicked off with some delicious food, drinks and lots of laughter. We then moved on to the entertainment, which included a dwarf entertainer handcuffed to a chair! It was a very cheeky and funny performance and we all had a great time. We also had some gorgeous topless butlers who had us all in fits of laughter. freddie was so good looking and charming. We carried on the night with lots of dancing, drinks and fun. We all got a bit drunk but it was in good spirits and we were all very happy. The night ended with a beautiful breakfast buffet and we all felt incredibly happy and content with the entire experience. The 5 star service and attention to detail was second to none and I would definitely give this hen do 5 stars!

I went for Sunday roast with my family to celebrate my Gran's birthday and it really was something special. The service was amazing, everything was attended to without a second thought. The meal itself was beautiful, a bit different from a traditional pub lunch but really, really good and the pudding was amazing. I thought it was going to bankrupt my family but at £20 a head for the three courses it was pretty good value for money. We stumbled across the website when searching for local wedding photographers and loved the arty, modern style of the pics with a few traditional ones thrown in for good measure. The business is run by the lovely Eleanor and her assistant Jen (who has now started doing weddings herself). Eleanor met us for an informal chat and a drink in a coffee shop and brought along her extensive portfolio - gorgeous pics and black & white shots, glossy ones etc. She was so relaxed and didn't have that awful 'wedding' mentality of charging extortionate prices and being all twee. In fact the price for 8 hours of photo taking on the day and a package of multi-sized photographs, the price was brilliant. On the big day (all a bit of a happy blur now awww) Eleanor arrived early and took shots of me & bridesmaids before the ceremony - she was so patient (I'm not a natural poser) and took hundreds of pics really quickly. She really got into the spirit of our relaxed country wedding (without intruding in any way) and this shows in the glowing photos we've got to treasure for the rest of our lives.
