And it's mostly due to the raging hormones and complete awkwardness that accompany ages 14 through 18. But MCHS did a relatively good job at making sure it wasn't AS LAME as it could be. I had amazing teachers here (BIG UPS TO: Mr. Kammer, Mrs. Milligan, Mr. Collinsworth, Mr. Kuschner [RIP], that one math teacher guy who I had for Algebra 3-4 but whose name I forget because it has been some years and Senora Renzi [I think that was it, Spanish, what-what]) and I came out of the whole thing a better person. And thanks to the whole "college prep" thing, cause I am naturally pretty smart, but I'd like to think MCHS helped nurture that just a bit. Maybe I'm biased because I was in something like the third or fourth graduating class but the facilities are NICE. I'm assuming that the place is still kept in pretty great condition. I mean, how many other high schools have campuses as gorgeous and technologically-advanced as this one? Try going to a high school in Lake County and just compare...MCHS kids are lucky. Minus half a star because the parking situation is crap. And minus the other half because Principal Klick is a total square, or at least he was when I was in high school. Finally, all you other folk best pay tribute to my class, 2002, and Kyle Rogers in particular, for providing the lovely number template up on the hill. REPRESENT.

The middle school is tough no matter what school, town or state. It is a rough age in the best circumstances. The high school has been amazing. I will not pretend I was always happy with the politics or some of our administration of years past but all in all the people who are in charge of our kids have done an amazing job. I only lasted one day here. During break people vape in the bathrooms and people talk about party's…read morewith beers and stuff. Each and every one of the teachers explained that during class they lock down the bathrooms during class because people will skip class and just vape. If you had to go to the bathroom you would be escorted by the principal and the principal will wait in front of your stall. They don't even have and school officers because they refuse to pay for them. I heard from someone that a person threatened them with a pocket knife during school and pushed it up against their side and made them sit next to them the whole day. Everyone there judges you and they give you dirty looks. %75 of people there have/do drugs. About a month after I left I heard on the news that a kid brought a knife to school and charged another kid with it.
