However, the lady at lower school that directs traffic in the morning has a disgusting attitude for whatever reason and has been mocking me for walking my daughter in and this morning even stared me down as I was leaving. I would greatly appreciate if someone addressed her as she isn't doing a good job of matching the loving environment and energy that school represents.

I regularly ask my kids if they are glad to be at Hammond and the answer is always a resounding, "Yes!". Hammond provides my children with an opportunity to be challenged, to grow in their passions, to experience new opportunities, to excel in becoming a well rounded individual that has a healthy respect for academic, athletic and cultural excellence. We have seen much growth and change at Hammond in our 13 years with technology, new facilities on campus, curriculum as it is an environment that knows to excel you can never stop learning and being open to change. Helen Kiser joined the Hammond family this past summer as LS Head and has already won the respect as well as the hearts of students, faculty and families. I know that with her passion for children and positive nature our LS will continue to amaze and engage our students to do great things and more importantly become kind and generous citizens. I have said to many parents that ask about our US, the guidance and dedicated partnership your family receives from the College Counseling Department in 9th-12th grade is well worth the investment of tuition. If you are looking for a positive, challenging and well rounded environment for your children, I hope you will visit Hammond. I love Timmerman School. I sent all 3 of my kids there. Also my granddaughter went there until she…read moregraduated. My 2 grandsons went there during Covid. I feel it's a very great school. My granddaughter is so far in her High School credits. Timmerman gave her a good head start on High School courses. Timmerman also provides before and after school programs. Also they offer so much there: all sports, dance, gymnastics, karate, piano lessons, etc. it's perfect for working parents. I highly recommend this school. Ms Liz is awesome to work with.

Keenan opened in 1963 so based on the exterior and interior aesthetic it has been updated with the times. I haven't explored the classrooms or cafeteria only gymnasium, and cannot speak to any teachers employed. Basing the review mainly on what I see it is great shape for being so old, the gym has an awesome mural behind the goal. When I think back to my high school ours didn't come close to this crispness on the color schemes. The multiple State Champ banners are hanging above, the bleachers are retractable not uncommon. The space feels really large inside, there is no stage visible for graduation so unclear where that would take place. We did drive close to track, baseball, football field they are relatively small for a large school. Granted I haven't been inside many high schools in my adulthood but the few I have, Lake City, West Florence this one appears fresher, larger, and updated. I had to take one star away since Mylasia Fulwiley decided transfer from SC.

The teachers and administrators use a strength based approach to unwrap the gifts in our kids. Every time I heard from a teacher, or my son reported back from school, the positive was emphasized. One child got a broken arm from a teacher jerking him/her around by the arm. Another child was injured from falling off a changing table because the staff wasn't paying attention or holding the baby. A child in the 3 year old room was recently 6/2023 abused by a worker pushing, jerking and treating him like a ragdoll! It's more cases against this place that have been covered up by the owner Crystal Thompson and some of her staff!! ​Please run as fast as you can before you choose to put your child(ren) in this hell hole of abuse!! I used to think this was an amazing daycare until I kept getting…read morecalls to pick up my son for "behavior issues" the last time I got a call I asked to see the cameras to see what's causing these tantrums when we actually saw a staff member flat out ignoring the students in the 2 year old group, pushing my son, grabbing him and tossing him aggressively etc. we were told that's how they "discipline" they told me it's never happened before and when I asked to see the cameras from the rest of the week I was told it deletes every 24 hours (how convenient) I was then told by the owner that she has went back and reviewed the cameras from other days when my son acts out and sees him kicking and punching and never saw the teacher be unnecessarily rough with him before. She also wouldn't refund us for the entire week because we decided to take our kids out and they fired the worker.... 3 hours later! I was told by police this isn't the first report of abuse, neglect etc against this daycare so I searched it for myself!!
