He was responsive, quick, easy to work with and his work lived up to the name. Beautiful job. After he was done, I could not tell where the repair had been made. Dave filled in a corner that had been nicked pretty bad by using a lacquer stick. He recreated the corner, matched the color perfectfully and drew in the grain lines, then sprayed lacquer over it all. He also did two more smaller touch ups and did not charge more than what he had quoted.

That was a hefty quote, so I had questions such as what type of cushions (size) and the quality and color of vinyl that would be used on the chairs. Could I pick it? Five days later, he responded that he had some vinyl left over from a job he did and would send pic of what it looked like. Well as of this review, he never sent the pics. I ended up ordering the padding, getting vinyl and doing the job myself. The communication was pretty poor in this case and i felt that the estimate was a bit pricey, but I was still going to go with it. Oh well, I just took it as a sign of maybe I just did not need to pay to get this job done.

Most wood furniture that you would want restored is probably old, so that may be where the 'antique' classification comes from. We had a relatively new, cheap dining table that fell apart because it was imported & designed with removable legs. Since we don't plan to move it again, we ask them to just rebuild with permanent legs. A few days & couple hundred bucks later we have a table that will outlast us.

I'm not too impressed with this business. I was a first time customer at this company and they were…read moretold that my end table and my coffee table were to have the scratches removed from the bottom shelves on both tables, as well as the bottom of the legs repaired due to being scuffed up by the vacuum cleaner. They wanted some money down before they would do the work, so I paid them the full amount of $240.00 in cash. They had my tables for over a month and when they delivered them, the shelves hadn't been touched at all. The only thing that was done was the bottoms of the legs. I wasn't home at the time they were delivered, but my husband was and he wasn't quite sure what all I was having done to the tables, so the owner had already left by the time I got home. I tried for 2 solid weeks to contact the company, leaving messages every now and then. When I finally reached someone, I explained that the shelves were overlooked and hadn't neen touched and that I'd like a partial refund or either repair the tables. The owner said that he would send me a refund of $40.00!!! I said, "$40.00? That's it?" I thought it would be a lot more than $40.00!!! I thought it would be at least $100.00. He said no, that's it. Well, that was over a month ago and I still haven't received a dime. I have called and left messages for them to call me, but nobody has yet. I'm very upset that they would do business this way. I know that times are hard, but I paid for two services and only one was done. I feel like I've been treated so unfairly by this company. I don't expect a full refund because the legs were repaired, but to offer me a refund of $40.00 is just ludicrous. When I took my tables to them, they didn't say, "Okay, well to repair those shelves on both tables will run you $40.00." I have contacted the Better Business Bureau regarding this matter and they sent the company 2 or 3 letters, but they never did respond. I definitely wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. The services aren't done in a resonable amount of time and if they overlook something, they aren't willing to make things right with the customer so that they are happy and satisfied.
