To start, my appointment was at 11am but she was late because she was "working out". When she started my hair I kindly advised her that I had a bad experience with a past braider who braided my hair so tight that over time it left a fist size traction alopecia bald spot that has since grown back to about 4 inches in length - after longterm treatments from my dermatologist. I also informed her that I only plan to wear the braids for 3 weeks so please braid them loose, and not tight. She does not know how to do true knotless braids and she initially said she was only going to do regular knot braids along my edges so "it doesn't come out". She showed me a small mirror after she braided a couple rows and I said it looked good, as I am relatively easy to please. She began to braid tighter and tighter and her braids were regular knot braid with more hair than what you have with knotless. When I politely asked her not to braid so tight and realized it was because she wasnt doing knotless braids, she angrily told me she "was not braiding tight"....as if I'm not the one sitting there in pain. She ignored my question about whether her braiding process differs from knotless, which starts by braiding the customers real hair first then feeding extension hair into the braid gradually. She charged me $220 for what was supposed to be small knotless to the middle of my back. I specifically told her that I didn't want the braids to go down to my butt and I asked for the hair to be braided to the end because I didn't want 3-4 inches of loose hair on the end of each braid. Sadly, I left with butt length braids with 3-4 inches of lose hair at the end. Before dipping my hair in hot water, she started by using scissors to cut lose strands from each braid but then pulled out a lighter and started burning the braids without my knowledge. It was not until I smelled my hair burning that I told her I didn't want her to use a lighter on my braids, so she started using scissors again. Bottom line, her level of professionalism was subpar and I won't be back. She was unnecessarily rude and will not get anymore of my money. If you want real knotless, go somewhere else. The reviews are misleading.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can…read moremake an informed decision. Before booking my appointment, I specifically called the salon and asked if they had experience braiding with human braiding hair. I explained exactly what I wanted, and I was assured they were familiar with the technique. Based on that conversation, I scheduled my appointment. I paid a significant amount for the human hair and, in total, spent over $500 on this style. I requested small twists, but the twists in the back were much larger and bulkier than I asked for. Two braiders worked on my hair. The owner braided the back, while another braider did the front. You can clearly see the difference in size because the front is noticeably smaller than the back. The biggest issue, however, was the technique used to install the human hair. Although I was told they had experience, the hair was not braided using the proper method for human braiding hair. The very next day, I simply flipped my hair and braids began slipping out in the back. I also noticed many other braids throughout my head were loose. I even took one braid down myself and confirmed that the installation technique was incorrect. I contacted the salon immediately and had to drive 30-40 minutes back, which was a major inconvenience. Instead of evaluating the entire style, they only reinstalled the braids that had already fallen out. The many other loose braids throughout my head were not addressed, even though the problem was widespread. Unfortunately, the braids continued to loosen and fall out afterward. For the amount of money I invested, I expected quality work and a style that would last. Instead, I was left extremely disappointed. Had I known the salon was not truly experienced with human braiding hair, I would have gone elsewhere. I wish they had been honest about their experience before I sat in the chair. If you're considering this salon specifically for human braiding hair, I would encourage you to ask detailed questions and ensure they are truly experienced with the proper technique before booking. My experience was very poor, and I cannot recommend them for this service.
