They listen to understand your complaints and then develop a treatment plan. They communicate with you throughout the entire process and apologize for the length of your stay, even when it lasts less than 30 mins from checkin to checkout. Had to visit a clinic while on vacation from... well I was sick the whole time. Not much of a vacation. Everything was great for medical service! Location was close to me. Not the best part of town, but the clinic was lovely. Staff was super caring and kind and fast and thoughtful. They got me through the trip and diagnosed my flu in minutes. I was a bit apprehensive when our uber pulled up to the building and saw there was a guard on the porch, but then I thought, "well, this makes this facility extra safe!" The waiting room was super clean and nicely furnished, the front staff was helpful, and the doctor was amazing. We we only had about a 20-minute wait. Ended up sick in New Orleans with bronchitis and an ear infection. They were easy to get to via a quick Lyft. They also have online appointments. I didn't need one and walked right in. They asked all the right questions and exams to get to the right diagnosis because I have severe allergies and asthma. Left urgent care and by the time I got to pharmacy by my hotel my antibiotics were ready to be picked up. If you are sick you know waiting for prescriptions that you desperately need is the worst! My most recent encointer was on 8/13/2023. I arrived at this facility to have CoVid testing done for myself (due to exposure) and my son (whom actually tested positive) to be told flat out no that this location. no longer performed CoVid testing. The young lady failed to ask opened questions which would have revealed that my son was a positive case and therefore required testing. I then decided to call another location (on North Broad) and I was informed that the information previously provided was incorrect. I then did a follow up call and made the St Claude office aware that what was previously reported was not accurate. I was then told that I could pay $149 for a CoVid which I thought was rather asinine. I then decided to do a follow up call and speak with an Office Manager and communicated with someone whom chuckled during our conversation about my experienc. The girls behind the desk are rude, un unhelpful and quite frankly look like theyd rather be ANYWHERE else but at their jobs. They have no idea what they're doing and lack a sense of urgency or compassion for the sick people coming through the doors. I arrived on time for my appointment, only to find out 15 minutes later that I needed to fill out new paperwork for my file. By the time I finished, four new people came into the office. Once they signed in i returned my paperwoek, but apparently i lost my place in line because At this point, three more people have gone back, and I'm still waiting for my appointment that was supposed to be 33 minutes ago. When I asked the front desk, "When would I be going back? Because it was already 30ish minutes past my appointment time," she informed me that all the other people had cut in front of me because I wasn't ready. (I hadn't filled out the paperwork she didn't give me until 15 minutes after I got there.) I have been to this urgent care twenty-five thousand times, there is no reason I should have to fill out all my old information AGAIN, and especially no reason as to why I would have lost my place after it was turned back in. read more

This morning I fell over in my kitchen and split my head open. I knew I needed stitches and I really didn't want to deal with an emergency room visit. Since I live 500 feet from this place I figured I'd just go there. Upon entering I felt really comfortable. The desk assistant was nice and the place looked well kept. The assistant asked what was wrong so I told her. She then said let me go get the nurse so she can "take a look real quick". When the assistant returned alone I was a bit confused. She said, "sorry sir, we're not doing those today. "Those"? What does that mean? I asked, "no stitches?". The lady just said no again and I left. So, service gets a zero. Any medical care clinic that turns you down without even looking can go to hell. read more

In my 45 years on this planet I have not gotten or more caring health care. The office waiting room is relaxing, comfortable, always smells amazing and always always has some good tunes on. The entire staff is very friendly and super competent. They even call the next day to see how you're doing. But the two stars of the show are Dr Jones & NP Anisha Smith. They truly listen and give great advice. My health has improved dramatically over the year I've been going in serious areas thanks for them taking the time and asking questions I've never been asked before. And I've been going to the Dr with these same issues for a decade. I wish you could give a 10 star. For real. And do not be turned off by the sometimes rowdy Wagners parking lot. This is the best urgent care experience I have ever had. I had a blocked ear that was beginning to get worse. I was able to make an appointment online so I didn't have to wait when I got to the clinic. The staff is friendly, professional and caring. whatever is going on here is nothing like what it used to be. I was surprised going here months back and waiting over 2 hours for an appointment - eventually had to leave. they used to be professional and have good quality care. at this point- they aren't administering Covid tests correctly. I had a negative test... got an at home test later in the day- I knew it wasn't right. when I read the instructions- easy to see the swan wasn't even taken correctly. The staff has been rude, unprofessional and just plain incoherent. I did call to tell them about the incorrect test because unfortunately I'm sure there are plenty of them out there. No response... really none- she just stopped speaking altogether. if this city is going to expect people to take Covid seriously- please make sure your testing sites are at least administering tests correctly. I had very good experiences here in the past- more than 2 years. I don't know what changed, but this is no longer that place. read more

Great office hours for working folks! Got in and out in less than an hour (filling out paperwork, giving urine and blood, and talking with the dr). All without feeling rushed or pressured because it was so close to closing time. Nice professional receptionist and nurse, clean exterior, ample parking in parking lot, clean modern bathroom, and nicely decorated waiting rooms and exam rooms. Very tranquil and serene environment....didn't feel like a cold doctors office. To top it off, Dr. Jones could be quite possibly the coolest doctor ever. After talking about why I was there, we talked about schools ( Im a teacher), kids, the world, and just treating people with respect.....he even became my counselor for a minute...lol. He was not judgmental and listened with quirkly, feel better responses (I walked in feeling blahh). This visit was well worth my drive. Thank you Urgent Care 11! Update::::: I went back and saw a nurse practitioner, Teshawn Ash, and although her bedside manner wasn't as polished as Dr. Jones', I would return to the practice, but only when a doctor is avaliable. read more

This is by far, hands down, the best urgent care clinic I have ever been to. 1) I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen and I've never spent more than an hour getting treated 2) They have super well trained, not to mention nice, polite, and professional, nurses to do intake and get started on why you're there (I've gone in with a high fever multiple times and the nurses immediately started prepping for flu test/samples needed/etc., even if it just meant getting things from drawers while we were talking. They clearly care about getting things done efficiently, but it doesn't detract from their friendly and professional attitude. These people are amazing.) 3) The office staff has an amazing ability to wade through the insurance bureaucracy for you if your brain is being scrambled by a fever and you can't even remember your last name (no but really, I don't even think they judged me for not being able to find my card or guessing the wrong insurance agency, they just called around for me til we figured it out). They also followed up when I was running an ultra high fever: I was supposed to go to the ER if it was still high 24h after my visit. I was still too sick to remember to check the next day but they called me to remind me: I was fine, but had I not been that call could've been a lifesaver. For a "doc in a box" to make a follow up call is pretty out of the norm in no experience. 4) Wagner's meat market next door has an amazing selection of Gatorade and crackers for when you are in the depths of flu induced misery I think this spot gets less recognition because it's in a slightly sketchy part of town and shares a parking lot with ("you can't beat") Wagner's Meat Market (I.e., booze and snack filled corner store). I considered giving them one star and a shit review because I don't want to blow up the spot, but damn it's hard to find good health care in this towns so here's to you, Urgent Care 11; because if you I no longer have a kidney infection. read more

Was in and out in under half an hour. Went right when they opened, and there was no wait. The staff was warm and welcoming. I saw the nurse practitioner who was knowledgeable and had a very good bedside manner. Treatment I received helped me feel better that day. Dr. Jones was fantastic! I needed 3 stitches for a cut in my hand. Not only was he quick but it hardly hurt at all (and trust me I'm a big baby). The office was very clean and pleasant. The best urgent care I've ever been to and maybe the best experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Jones was extremely friendly and caring. He quickly diagnosed a double ear infection that my dermatologist and allergist had somehow missed earlier in the week. A few hours later and I'm already feeling significantly better. Very courteous and accommodating staff. As someone who is scared of needles, the nurse did a great job and I couldn't feel anything. Highly highly recommend. I'm new to the city and had a long wait to get into a mental health clinic in the city. I've been off of my medication for a week and I have been feeling like a different person. The practitioner was very compassionate and understanding. Most of the urgent care clinics I contacted don't prescribe anything for mental health. Great addition to the neighborhood. I had Dr. Jones remove stitches that I got in the emergency room and he did a fantastic job. I arrived well before the office opened and he and the receptionist saw me looking in the door and opened early. On a subsequent visit, the wait time was less than five minutes, though there were several other patients there. Office is so clean that I worried I'd dirty it up and the prices are very reasonable. It's a little hard to find on St. Claude but well worth seeking out. Can't recommend highly enough. read more
