Truly, the care is unbeatable and the facility is pristine. They do constant barn checks and workers are amazing and live on the property. They also run a dog boarding service, which I utilize. I had numerous issues which I brought to their attention and every time Joanne would start yelling and screaming and throwing a conniption fit. When I first arrived my horse had very calm horses on either side of him. Shortly thereafter Joanne allowed a high strung horse to be stabled next to my horse which created issues. I asked Joanne if she would move the high strung horse and she did not. There very small riding arena has 4 to 5 inches of sand which is not suitable to ride in as it will cause suspensory issues to your horse. A sand based riding arena should be 1 to 2 inches. One of Joanne's horses chewed and destroyed my very expensive halter I kindly asked her to replace it she said she would but after 4 weeks it still hasn't been replaced. They lock up the feed room and do not allow you access to your own supplements and grain which is unheard of in a barn. Joanne did not disclose that her neighbor to the east hates her so much that he fires up the lawnmower or something very loud daily to disrupt the horses and your experience while at the barn. Joannes cursing is offensive and she's constantly ranting and raving. Joanne and Liz created a very stressful environment for my horse and myself and therefore I would never recommend this place to anybody under any condition or situation.

I've got blue ribbons to prove it! Being a beginner horse owner Krista has really been kind and respectful of my own knowledge and areas of improvement. She's been flexible and so sweet, but she also pushes you to push yourself and surpass what you think your limits are. We've mainly focused on dressage, though to have a more rounded mare Krista has included jumping and even trail riding. She's made the challenging hobby of riding and owning a horse even more rewarding and enjoyable. I've had experience with multiple trainers in the past, but I've never felt so educated and included on what is going on with my horse and how to get to our goals. They'd been trying to come here for years and I am so glad we got to go and witness how amazing this place is. We scheduled a tour in the afternoon and granted it was in the winter it was a bit cold so glad we dressed warm. The space is beautiful and very organized with their tours. Our tour was guided by Robyn and she was absolutely wonderful! Warm, engaging and entertaining. You can really tell how much each individual cares for the work they do here with such passion and the difference they make in the community and for these animals. During the tour Robyn shared the educational facts, stories and futures of the lives of each animal. They had everything from the most amazing packs of wolves, to mountain lions, javelinas, foxes, birds, deer and bobcats. The wolves may have been my favorite and how incredible to be that close to them. The 2 hours of the tour flew by because it was so engaging. I could have spent all day at this amazing place. They had a wonderful little gift shop too where all the proceeds go to supporting the animals. I'd love to come back sometime for a Twilight tour.

On June 24th at approximately 9:30PM, my fiancée was driving home from work and witnessed a car run…read moreinto a baby coyote. He pulled over to check on the injured animal and noticed severe injuries. He informed me of the situation and called the cops hoping that would resolve the situation, but I decided to do research on emergency rescues that may be able to assist on something so urgent. With my research I found this location was very reputable so I called the emergency number hoping there would be someone that would take this situation as serious as we did. Unfortunately for some reason the lady on the phone 1. Thought it was suspicious that I even called to report an injured baby coyote and was not present with the animal and 2. When I gave my fiancée the emergency number to call after she hung up on me, she kept giving him the run-around despite him sending over photos of the injured animal, and she informed him to call another number. The other number she provided only gave him another number which was this rescue so he was no help at all. Mind you this has been a running loop for one hour already. When he called back this rescue that's when she finally asked him to come drop off the baby coyote (this would have been a 50 minute drive), and when he was about to, the baby animal unfortunately did not make it, and by that point all the rescues we called including this one no longer wanted to assist as it was no considered deceased. If whoever was on call last night took some urgency to this matter and taking the situation as serious as it was, the baby coyote probably would have made it, and my fiancée would not be as distraught and frustrated as he is right now for no one being compassionate over an injured baby pup.

I was super impressed with how Rob's Dogs handled my visit and was blown away by their facility, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and was happy that my meeting was with Rob himself. It is a big investment to work with Rob's Dogs but there are a few different ways to do so (that include with and without boarding). Whether now with this dog, or in the future for training, I will absolutely consider going with Rob / Rob's Dogs.
