My daughter started attending when she was 2 (now 6) and my son began as a toddler at 18 months (now 4.5). The curriculum is expansive, including typical montessori activities/practical life skills (like washing dishes, tying shoelaces, folding clothing, polishing, potty training) but also very advanced academically. Through their guidance my daughter is reading at a grade 4 level and doing math at a grade 3 level as she enters grade 1. My son who is predisposed musically, can sing various beautiful songs in different languages, and has learned to write letters and read phonetically (entering JK). Most importantly, they absolutely Love going to school every day - they have been happy and felt safe there. We have had a few different teachers over the years as we progressed through stages, as well as a few constant (Ms. Eva - we love you!) and they have all been knowledgable, capable and exceptionally kind. They and the staff were always accessible and flexible when needed. And anytime I have gone to the school I witness kids who are happy, having fun and thoroughly engaged in their learning. The facilities themselves are located in the downtown core in an office-type building that initially seemed unusual for a school or daycare - but inside it is truly the sweetest little setup and the classrooms are clean, organized, well appointed and clearly taken care of. The outside area is small, but well utilized, and they also have an indoor playground which is useful for the winter months and bad weather. They've done a really great job with space in the downtown core, and you can really feel the sense of love and commitment to the kids there. Additionally - they include lunches served by ReakFoodForRealKids daily as well as snacks which offers incredible, healthy and diverse food. My kids, who can at times be picky at home, literally rave about the food - and they love that there are always healthy snacks available. Through BBMS we have additionally met a wonderful community of downtown families whose kids regularly meet and play outside of school hours. Our kids have fostered lasting and meaningful connections which continue to be a light in both our kid's and our lives. Every other parent I have ever talked to who actually attended Bluebutterfly also raves about their experience - and many have enrolled siblings after their first. Blue Butterfuly have truly been a rock for us through such integral phases of our children's lives, and in addition, during the pandemic - our family will forever be grateful to the staff and teachers here.

There is a large play area that my son loves and most importantly we love the flexibility and friendly atmosphere which is important for parents juggling a job and school runs .. I know many teachers from different groups (and they rotate them among the groups) and most of them are very friendly and ready to answer any questions. They are professionals and can give an advice about the kids' behavior, training or any issues. The management is very friendly and open to any discussions. All you need to do is to follow the rules common for any licensed daycare - timing, illness, etc. You can always check the menu on their website. They cook in the daycare but there is no food smell there as in other child care places. They clean the toys and rotate them so the kids have new toys from time to time. The rooms are clean and I have no concerns about this. The kids follow the schedule and play a lot. They are always entertained by the staff and do a lot of crafts, play interesting games. My son is always happy going to the class. I definitely recommend Eden Daycare. The only thing that needs improvement, in my opinion, is the security system. The parents use fobs but I think the security should be strengthened.

She spent several hours of the day at this fine establishment and from when we drop her off to when we pick her up she is always smiling. They keep us well informed and address things in a very timely manner. The curriculum is carefully considered and varies from week to week. Our Grand daughter is learning by leaps and bounds .Thanks to these awesome staff. All of the teachers and assistants are always so pleasant and upbeat, they create a really positive environment for the children in the Day Care. We have yet to meet a face that we haven't liked. we know that our Grand daughter is well cared for. An incredible nursery / pre-school, and neighbourhood gem…read more All 3 of my children have flourished at and enjoyed their years at Creative Corner, which offers 2 unique programs (T/Th for 2 year olds, and M/W/F for 3 year olds), a perfect supplement to my kids' time with me at that age. My kids have waltzed into kindergarten (whereas I'm the one crying) after being a part of the nurturing and cooperative environment. The classroom is bright, welcoming, and colourful, and the program structure offers creative play based stations & hands on activities that are different every day. Teachers are incredible. They develop a special relationship with each child, and are always available to communicate with parents. Diapers and all stages of potty training are welcome, which made the training less stressful in our home. Kids get to bring their packed lunch to school in the 3 day program, which is adorable, and great practice for Kindergarten. This is one of the only cooperative nursery schools in the area, which means parents have lower fees, and can play a small role in the ongoings of the school, or even join the executive. I will be heavy hearted to be moving on from Creative Corner (after 5 years) in June, and would highly recommend it to any and every family looking for a part time nursery school for their little one.

Shortly after joining Creative Corner, wow. I can attribute this to the teacher, Meg, and the nurturing environment she fosters. Supportive, educational, fun, and very attentive to our all the children. They learn to play together, share, as well as be comfortable to do activities independently. The classroom is always kept neat & clean, amazing given that they're toddlers! If we have another child, I would most certainly bring them here for 2 years as well. We have nursery schools closer to our house, but we chose Creative Corner for everything it provides. Highly recommended!

They are very accommodating with issues you may have. My child liked the food that was catered and are allergen conscious. No nuts allowed in the building. They have special days to keep it fun and exciting for the children, ie. splash days, walk to the playground and inviting a gym teacher to teach age appropriate exercises. The people are so friendly and caring, both to the children and to parents. I was made to feel so comfortable and confident during the difficult transition of placing my son in daycare. He quickly attached to the staff and seems excited to go each day. The playgrounds are beautifully kept and almost completely shaded with mature trees. My child has been there for almost 2.5 yrs. the leaps and bounds within the first 6 months are amazing and after that even the things he randomly says are astounding. (Obviously taught by the ECEs or assistants) For socialization, quality of care, quality of food...even for our picky eater they usually adapt to him and serve him pasta with butter and herbs instead of sauce for instance... just shows that the people care about the kids. In a few more months we will have another child looking for daycare and this is our number one spot.

I love the reports we get at then end of the day with special captions that we can get insight in what our child is doing every day. I cannot stress how welcoming and engaging the staff are.
