No one is ever in the office so expect a call or should I say text, several days later. Very unprofessional agency.

Ive been on oxygen for 30 years. My lungs were scarred by a Covid19 like pneumonia. Many people…read morewho survive the ravages of covid pneumonia will become o2 dependent as well. So its never been more vitally important to find oxygen/medical equipment providers we can trust and count on. Unfortunately, Berks Medical is By far the worst O2 co. I've ever dealt with. My doctors feel the same way. From the start, phone communications with this company, have been fraught with upset and delays. Im writing this for those who cant. If theyre being this cruel to me, theyre doing it to others. If you are sick, bedridden, house bound, Quarantining, Call someone else. In fact, Call Anyone else! Put it this way, if there was a Minus 5 Stars option, that would be an overly generous rating. The people whom one is forced to deal with, in their so called, Customer Service dept, are the rudest people on earth. They shouldn't be anywhere near a phone. Shouldn't be allowed to deal with the Ill. They make getting what one needs to survive, and in many cases, to stay alive, upsetting, difficult, and almost impossible to receive. Over a year ago they decided to stop carrying the excellemt liquid o2 prescribed for me for 30 yrs. Liquid is the best and purest form of 02. I was upset and wanted to leave the co, because of the rudeness of their customer service. This is the only 02 co Ive had- that closes on weekends. Emergencies happen on weekends. The manager, Cindy talked ne into staying cause i have excellemt coverage. She promised i wouid have 24/7 service, something id never had with them before. I was too sick to argue, trusted her. What a Mistake! Now i have a loud, horrible machine. It doesnt need to be refilled, but i stil need the tubing&other supplies to access it and my nebulizer, breathing treatment machine. However this week when I called for supplies,I was toldmthis was the last time they woukd ever deliver aything to me. Ive maybe needed supplies 3 x in past yr. The rudest of the woman who sooke to me, wss so upsetting it made me cry. There was simpky no reason for her hard, abusive tone. They claim now that they do not, And Will Not deliver tubing, nasal cannulas, nebulizer kits, cpap equipment. Not even during a pandemic. They also wont FedEx or mail it either, said it's too cost effective. If you offer to pay for the delivery, they claim they cant/-wont do that either. Claim they're not "mandated" to deliver these items, and Arent 'allowed to mail them. Claim all their clients,/sick people have neighbors who run these errands. What if u dont have neighbors, or wouldnt or couldnt ask them for this 'favor'- which is to provide what Berks Medical is legally contracted to supply; things you need to survive What if you're quarantining, bedridden, sick, elderly, spouse is dead and/or unavailable, and you cant drive or leave the house? Apparently they feel no obligation to provide you with the items you need to access the equipment they're legally contracted to supply, things you need to stay alive. If you have the misfortune to have to speak to customer service, gird your loins. These people are cold, and mean, and needlessly cruel. They claim this is okay with 98% of their clients.I think they're full of it. In other words, Save yourself, go somewhere else. Go anywhere else but here.

Just called this company to get a prescription for a wheelchair filled for my disabled mother. The…read morewoman who answered the ph asked what kind of insurance she had and when I told her it was Medicare/medicaid she started asking me all kinds question and put me on hold to talk to her manager. when she got back she said they couldn't help me because insurance wouldn't pay for it since they bought her a scooter a few years . She would not listen to the fact that I already had approval from insurance or that it had been over 5 years since the scooter was bought or that the wheelchair was a necessity because my mothers health has deteriorated over those last five years which why her doctor PRESCRIBED IT! These people obviously don't care about service and they definitely don't care about people. Only how fast and easy they can get their money.
