We made an appointment online, and arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled time. However, we still ended up waiting up to two hours for our service. We were marked number one on the list, but other people were taken before us. Even though we experienced long wait times, the staff was extremely friendly, and worked efficiently to try and get you out of there as fast as possible. read more

I had a decent experience here. I had to fill out a lot of paperwork and waited for over an hour, but once I was in the back it probably took a bit less than 30 minutes. To expedite the process, I highly recommend checking in online. I arrived at the scheduled time and was taken within 15 minutes. The receptionist was very organized and polite. Thomas, the RT, asked me specific questions regarding my issue and took my vitals. Within minutes Dr. Bailey arrived and provided me with his diagnosis along with a summary of my visit. Very rude and unprofessional receptionist. I was treated very poorly. I'm not sure if she was lazy to enter us as new patients. I had an appointment for today, drove there at the correct time, she rudely told me they don't do specific labs, but she never even asked me what labs I needed (all needed labs were stated in their website). I was at the Jensen Beach Boulevard facility on Saturday, July 2 , 2022 about one hour before they closed to take my friend to have a Covid test because she was exhibiting symptoms. The PA in charge was very alarmist and very rude. She saw that we spoke Spanish so she spoke to us in Spanish telling me that she was sure that we all had Covid because we were with my friend who tested positive. After my friend tested positive, she put me in a small room with her to wait!!! I told her I didn't want to be exposed and that's when she told me that I was going to be positive anyway. She didn't want to bother telling us what pharmacy was open and refused to talk to us even at a distance in the parking lot. By the way, I tested negative after 5 days of being exposed contrary to her insistence that she was sure I was going to test positive. My other friend who was with me also tested negative. Someone has to teach this PA how to treat people with kindness. read more

I don't do yelp. But I feel it's only right to say not to ever go to this walk in clinic if you want help. I'm in the ER right now due to their lack of judgement. I was scammed for my money and kicked out the door. Essentially told that this is where we part ways. The doctors in the ER DIDNT EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW I WAS ON MY 2 feet and didnt see how a urgent care unit would let me walk out the door in that condition. My blood levels were at a 3. The average male of my age. That being 27 should be at a red blood count of 13-17. Dr at urgent care said I had a migraine....Need I say less? Don't ever go to the care unit if you need proper attention. I'm not saying this to be spiteful I'm putting this review out there to honestly save life's. Be careful who you let judge your health. I never go to the doctor. It has been at least seven years and now I know why. It majorly stinks and is always disappointing. But after being sick for three weeks even I know it's time to succumb -- although I was still dragged kicking and screaming. My husband and my visiting daughter took me after calling first to make sure it was open. The receptionist said, "Yes, we have Dr. L here until 7." She also mentioned he's about to retire. Why would she say that? It's a sign people, it's a sign! As I think I've learned, this clinic recently reopened with a new name. After waiting for a while with no other patients in sight, I'm lead back to the examining room. The hallway carpeting looks unclean, but the room: dried, brownish red splotches on the linoleum floor. I was horrified and wondered what else was let go in the facility. And isn't there rules and regulations about cleanliness in a facility that treats patients? A self-described paramedic took my blood pressure squeezing my arm to hades and back. just ouch. my blood pressure read higher than it's ever read scaring me more than my illness. I wondered if there was any shame or consciousness about the dirty room. "Are those blood stains?" I meekly ventured. A quick glance from young paramedic, "Nah, those definitely aren't blood stains." no explanation; no apology; no caring. He then suggested I get x-rays because my sickness had gone on so long and there might be a blockage. I was thinking this is just a money making scheme. Went back to lobby to confer with hubmonster; overheard paramedic talking to receptionist about him wanting to bulk up his muscles. Took hubmonster to room and mouthed, "Look at those stains." He couldn't believe it either. We asked the paramedic if we could at least see the doctor before agreeing to the x-rays. no problem. Dr. L came in, made a joke, asked me to lie on the table which made me feel dirty because of the uncleanness of the room. I gave him an extensive explanation of the food poisoning incident. He didn't poke or prod me or ask any questions. I'm not making this part up. He literally said, "It could be this or that, or it could be this or that, or this or that." Seriously? He used these exact words. Prescribed Cipro that I stupidly took for days before reading reviews of it on-line that for the most part said this medication should be banned it has so many side effects including permanent tendinosis. Cost: $130. Got back in car and took wet wipes to wipe my whole body. Hubmonster went back to clinic to see whether we could get another script. He said this doctor seemed more knowledgeable. He prescribed Metronidazole. Which seemed to alleviate my symptoms until a few days after I finished it. The pain came back. Part 2 will be posted later. read more

I would recommend staying away from this place completely. Although the staff was welcoming at first, the follow up was very very poor. After some scary test results and an unnecessary antibiotic the doctor was supposed to call me back. I called the facility three times and the receptionist told me verbatim, "we close at three and I promise the doctor will call you before then". I was contacted by the doctor THREE DAYS later. I was informed that he was not scheduled to be in the office on the day I was promised the return call. Even if this is a miscommunication, the medical field is not the place for broken promises and false information. I recommend CareSpot in Port Saint Lucie on Prima Vista. More prompt, more professional, and no bullshit, unlike this place. read more

Can't say enough about CareNow. I went there last week thinking I had caught a bug and needed an antibiotic. The doctor checked me out and thought I might have appendicitis. She wanted me to go to the ER. Well, I thought it was impossible and totally unnecessary for me to go to the hospital! I didn't have any significant pain. Yes, I felt awful, but I was convinced I just needed rest and an antibiotic. Well, my husband insisted and I begrudgingly went to the ER. To make a long story short, I did in fact have acute appendicitis and I am here writing this as I recover from an emergency appendectomy. I owe a huge apology to the doctor who examined me for being so stubborn, and an even bigger thank you for quite possibly saving my life. My appendix was within days of bursting. I'd give them far more than 5 stars if I could. I can't recommend them highly enough read more

Extremely slow, perfunctory care, and an hour wait in a hot exam room to get a test that literally took seconds. NP was caring and helpful, the rest, including the physician, were robotic at best. I went in to care now for UTI. I called them back with continued symptoms and was told that a new prescription of antibiotics would be called in by somebody on the staff there. I was quite surprised when I went to the pharmacy to pick it up and it wasn't an antibiotic at all. Physicians Immediate Care is my choice for medical care. My family and I have had cuts stitched up, gotten tetanus shots, and received follow up care after a traumatic car accident. We have also had emergency care for severe flu and pneumonia. What I like about this facility is that the doctors actually do something more than write prescriptions. The staff is friendly and the facility very clean. If you're short on cash and don't want to pay a huge emergency room bill, go to PIC for urgent care. read more

I went on a Sunday afternoon after suffering for a few days with a terrible sore throat that felt like I was swallowing razor blades! Found the staff friendly and efficient ..Got taken in ...the usual questions, BP taken, and swab for strep..they tested it right away, PA came in, examined me and called in an antibiotic to Walgreen's for me!! Thank goodness NO strept but pretty serious tonsillitis!! This place is fantastic! I am visiting my parents from out of state and this place was the closest urgent care. It's less than a mile from where I'm staying. I took advantage of their online check in. What a fabulous feature. They called me right away after I submitted my info electronically, let me know they would call me back in 30 min approx. When I arrived at the clinic I was taken back within 5-10 min. Great staff in the front & back office as well. Great service from the Physicians assistant as well. Over all a great visit. The office itself in Jensen Beach was fine - my complaint is that when I went in for PCR test to return to my job I was charged $35 - I questioned it and was told by the girl at the desk that the government changed things and it's up to my job and insurance. I paid the $35 as I needed to get the test done. When I contacted my job with my results I questioned it - they said there should be ZERO out of pocket - I called the number provided to discuss billing - spoke to a woman told her the story and requested a refund - she said they don't do that and when insurance pays the claim if there is an over payment they will send me a check -which we all know will NEVER happen. I told her it's a covid test and I was informed there should not have been any out of pocket - she kept repeating what she told me and said it was corporate policy so I asked "what you're telling me is corporate policy is to illegally charge me and then make me wait months for a refund - that's what you are telling me now on this recorded line?" She actually said YES - avoid CareNow - they willingly tell you that it is their policy to illegally charge you for something and then refuse you a refund. Plenty of other places to go that won't do this. read more

EVERY person...two secretaries(?), a nurse or NP, and the MD I encountered was competent, friendly, polite, and sincere. Bedside manner?! Pleasant?! Not one smile from the medical assistant, nor the Physician Assistant. Went for a routine physical before eye surgery. You would have thought I was disturbing their time from anything but being of assistance. I guess these folks never passed the human side of making a patient feel comfortable or important. I have never experienced such rudeness at an urgent care facility. It has been turned over since my last experience (4 years ago) . No comparison. As a professional in Human Resources, from a large organization, I suggest training in compassion and human relations. read more
