The tea tastes like coffee (or as if it was brewed in the same container without a thorough wash), the lattes are good, and the carbonated drinks are pretty bad. Food is okay, it's just like Starbucks food. The barista that helped me was pretty rude to my partner and me. Along with this, the drinks are over priced. The positive is that there is never usually a line, so you're not waiting forever. When I contacted customer service about me experience, they gave me a free drink, but I'm probs not going back. :/ read more

Iowa is Caribou Coffee country!! We recently were in this area on a family roadtrip, and were unfamiliar with the Caribou Coffee chain. To try something different, we stopped in a couple mornings to this location for our AM-caffeine (and kid-friendly beverages) fix! My husband and daughter each ordered some iced coffee concoctions, and were pleased with their picks. Our daughter is vegan, and was able to order her drinks to be both non-dairy (she went with oatmilk) and decaf. Our son loved the iced hot chocolate, which is basically a creamy chocolate milkshake. And I am a coffee purist, and went with hot black light roast coffee each day. The blend at Caribou was crisp and a little nutty, very much to my liking. The store was quiet both days we were in, so we relaxed a bit in their comfy chairs to sip our bevvys and chill as a fam' by the hearth for a while. The store is clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and patient with all of our questions. We also asked about Caribou in general, and it turns out that actually Minnesota is Caribou Coffee country!! The chain is headquartered in Minnesota, but stretches into other parts of the Midwest too. Lucky us that we got to try it in Iowa!! We enjoyed Caribou so much we snagged a couple souvenirs too, a ceramic mug and a couple buttons for kid's backpacks. They sell a variety of mugs, tees, and you can purchase bagged whole-bean and ground coffee, as well. The parking lot in this plaza had plenty of space, plus there is a drive-thru here if you prefer to grab-and-go from your car. We're back home now in Buffalo NY, but I've got my Caribou mug to savor the memories. Hope to be back in Caribou Coffee country again someday, as this location made our fam' fans of the brand, for sure!! :-D read more

This Caribou Coffee location used to be my favorite but, I'll never go back. The last 3 times I've been there the coffee was literally not drinkable. Today the "tripple shot latte" they actually gave me was nothing but milk and was barely even room temp. In addition, this location does not allow you to order using the Caribou app so you wait longer in line to order. Skip this place! There are too many other coffee places to waste your money here. read more

I went in for a cup of coffee and ended up spending over $36 worth of ground coffee. They are quite the sales people at this location. When I walked in there were two ladies who were busily working making drinks. I decided to go in rather than go through the drive-through because I wanted to check the place out since it's brand-new. And has a very modern cool coffee bar vibe. I could definitely spend an hour or so sitting in a booth talking to a friend at this location. I wasn't graded right away but when I was kat greeted me and asked me if I had any questions. I wasn't sure what that L stood for beside some of the coffee drinks. It means that they can make him with light milk instead of whole. I ordered an iced caramel high-rise or something like that. The drink was alright not as sweet as I would like. What got me was they were selling a Caribou coffee called Amy's blend. Was in a pretty pink package and proceeds went to benefit breast cancer awareness. Because I gave my name for my drink when I ordered she asked me if I would like to purchase it since it had my name on it. I bought two packages one for work and one for home and because I bought two I got a five dollar gift card for next time. I sure hope the coffee is good. I normally like flavored coffees but since it says my name on it I thought I'd give it a try. This location is very fun and hip and also has a convenient drive-through. I would compare pricing to that of a Starbucks. I will be back. read more

Two stars because of very SLOW service. It was Sunday morning and there were two high school kids running the place. And one of them was in training. It took 5 minutes for them to take my order and 15 minutes to make 2 drinks. I was the only person inside but the drive through was packed. Coffee was good but speed is not their forte. After I finally got my coffee one of the high school girls came over and apologized. They are always understaffed and she was apologizing for our wait. Very nice! If you are in a hurry DO NOT go here. If you have plenty of time the coffee is good and the overstuffed chairs are comfortable. read more

Went in because I'm tired of Starbucks not offering any good SF syrup. I enjoyed the SF raspberry latte it was nice to have something more then vanilla. They also have won me over since they still offer SF caramel! The staff was friendly and ordering and pick up was efficient! Will stop again when getting the oil changed next door! read more

This caribou coffee is by far the worst caribou, makes you wonder if it's actually someone following the standards of this franchise or someone who just stole the name and is trying to ruin the brand. I bet you every time I come here they screw up an order, or drink or just take freaking forever to make it. There treat display was awful. It's frustrating. Staff were nice, coffee always good at Caribou. Clean and not too busy. Wifi is free and fast.

I come here at least twice a week and I just love it. Everytime I come I am greeted with a smile and a kind greeter. My coffee/ tea is always brewed just right! All their specialty drinks are just fantastic. The environment of the building itself is just inviting and warm, always a place to sit and enjoy the delicious coffee. :) read more

Try their new Hazelnut Honey latte. You could taste the honey rather than sugar sweetener and it was yummy. Also, their apple sausage sandwiches actual have apple in them. Strange but good and the smell is heavenly. read more

A representative was rude asking if I had enough balance in my account even before processing the payment through my mobile Caribou app. I asked why she was asking it and showed my more than enough balance to her. She said "just to make sure". She was scanning me from head to toe. She looked like and sounded like a racist. I felt very bad and don't want to come back to this Caribou. read more

Update: will no longer be going in early morning. For some reason, it takes forever for them to run through the drive-thru and what is supposed to be a quick run to get coffee ends up taking forever. Maybe they need to hire more people, not sure. ------------------------------------------- Normally at this Caribou I have a great experience. This last weekend though was so bad I want other customers to be aware. My sister was in town this weekend and she decided to go Saturday afternoon (2/11/17). She ordered her drink and took a sip as we were leaving the drive-thru. She told me it tasted like a latte, not the mocha she had ordered. She decided to turn around and went inside to talk with them and see if she could get it remade. The guy who took her order apparently ignored her and the other staff came over to talk to her. She explained the situation and the woman explained they were out of milk chocolate to put in their drinks. Instead of offering her a different chocolate (if they had any) or explaining the situation when she ordered or at the window to give her a chance to change her drink, they deliberately made a LATTE and hoped she wouldn't notice that it wasn't a mocha. The woman remade the drink using their "topping chips" but made sure my sister knew she was using all of what they had to make her drink. My sister contacted corporate because we were so flabbergasted at the service she had. read more

Went to the drive thru to order a coffee and a Turkey & Brite sandwich. The drive thru took 20+ minutes and I was only behind two other cars. When I finally got my sandwich the turkey was dry and tasteless. It was very overpriced for what I actually received. I was very unsatisfied with my experience. Needless to say I will not be going back. read more
