Since moving into the property (an older home), several minor issues have arisen (e.g., a toilet leak, a problem with the fridge, a tap leak), and each time, PPM has quickly and efficiently resolved the problem, even when the issue came up late at night. This is in stark contrast to other property management companies that we have rented from in the past, where we were often forced to live with the issue for weeks or even months. We could not be happier with PPM!

We have lived at our townhouse for 2 years now and still have not had the metal construction spikes from our garage removed, despite our 2 requests. We live at Esker Apartments. This property has cockroaches (our building is a year old). Management…read morethought it was appropriate to treat our unit for cockroaches just 2 weeks prior to our move out (rather than waiting till we move out to fully treat the unit despite our unit not being rented after we move out). They suggested that this needed to handle it ASAP but instead of informing the entire building and treating the common areas too, they decided to only treat units near the infested one and not tell any of the residents. This required us moving all of our items from the entire kitchen area and finding a place for our dog to stay on a work day. Then, they told us if we didn't move our items from cabinets before treatment, they'd charge us for the treatment. (They never inspected our unit beforehand for cockroaches - it was the unit next to ours). Please consider this when looking to live at a TR Mckenzie property. Not to mention we had 3 property managers over the course of our 12 month lease. They're treating our unit today for cockroaches (March 14th, 2024). Pretty convenient to pack up all your items 2 weeks before your move out! If the building has cockroaches, everyone who lives in the building deserves to know.

I lived in the apartment complexes in Aspen Hill for two years, which I believe at the time was their newest location, so all of the amenities that I had were amazing and really well maintained. The staff threw fun parties and both me and my husband had a great time when we were living there. I WISH i had gotten some sort of benefit from writing that review but I received nothing for that review, not even a thank you post it. We never had to sublease or finish our lease early or dealt with any complaints so we had no problem with the staff. We did not get our deposit back even though we thought we left the place in great shape which was disappointing but we never followed up to see why either. Anyways I guess my original review should've specified that I lived at Aspen hill, that may have cleared up some of the "confusion" as to why my review was so good!

Our selling agent took us to the house a few hours after the showing was over, and we were so impressed we put an offer in immediately. She blocked the sale, made such a stink at Remax that our selling agent HAD TO CHANGE JOBS, but we ultimately prevailed, and got the house. (There as no legal way to block us). Our selling agent told us Ms. Keeling wanted the house for herself. From an ethical standpoint, WHY WAS SHE THE LISTING AGENT, and even more curious, did she effect the selling price in this way?
