Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to earn awards at conventions in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, the U.S and China. In 2022, I moved to New York City to continue growing in the place where so many of the best artists come to find their voice. Her energy was contagious -- so passionate, patient, and incredibly skilled. She made the class very approachable, even for total beginners like me. Pearl broke down each step in a way that made it fun and not intimidating at all. The class was intimate and educational. The calligraphy kit she gave us to take home was such a treat! I put my new skills to the test by making place cards for a dinner party I hosted a few weeks later and they turned out great.
