Recently, I used Caricatures by Gabe to entertain 15 - 20 people at my mother's 80th birthday celebration and had a wonderful experience. Gabe was quick to reply to my initial request for information and I found him to be proactive in his communications leading up to the event. He showed up at the house on time, quickly setup in one of the rooms, and away he went. His setup, appearance, demeanor, and artist talent were professional and everyone enjoyed seeing what Gabe created of themselves. 2-hours was just right to get everyone with a picture to take home and remember the event without rushing through the process. Ah, where do I start. We had Gabe do caricatures at our daughters 4th birthday (I've never seen this done at a kids party so thought it would be neat) -- not only was it a huge hit, but Gabe was just awesome. Very personable with everyone, he got everyone (even someone from an iPhone photo) drawn, extremely professional, and awesome drawings (we are framing all three of our kids caricatures)! He even did a cot drawing of our daughter before hand, and put everyone's caricatures in a plastic bag with card stock within, to keep them in good shape. Couldn't have been happier. :) read more

To begin I waited patiently for him to finish a couple. I sent him a picture of my son because he is only a year and a half, he will not sit still. He had no person in line. I paid in advance and he said on hour. I walked around the flea market waiting. Once I got back to his stand he was drawing another lady and hadn't even started on my son. It's so unprofessional and annoying he didn't even inform me. But he did have the audacity to have asked for his money upfront. I will never recommend him to anyone. The lady supposedly there helping him just sitting on her phone ignoring customers. Really bad. read more

We have had the pleasure of working with Gabe for the past 3 months and his been great. Gabe is very professional and arrives on time. I find him to be flexible and accommodating to our needs. He has even traveled to attend our events out of San Antonio. Our members have truly enjoyed getting their picture drawn that some have come back to our events so that they can come and get another caricature drawing.
