J.B., the owner, is a staple at our parties, and I'd venture to say that my guests have grown to like her and look forward to seeing her snapping photos of them. She always shows up on time, and is somewhat of a photog ninja in the fact that she's never in the way, but always manages to capture some really big moments of the party. Her style is definitely unique, a bit of the classic mixed with an edgy editorial feel. None of it is contrived, and that's a great thing to know when looking back on your photos. My favorite thing? I never have to tell her what to take photos of. She just gets it. If we have an event sponsor, she is sure to snap plenty of shots of their product. If there's a delectable menu item that a chef prepared, she knows to photograph it. If there's a guest with an excellent outfit on, she snaps their photo and makes them feel like a celeb. Oh wait - there's one more favorite thing. The turn around time is super fast - I always have photos in my inbox within days of my event.

Little did we know this would be one of the worst decisions we could have ever made. In the contract they were supposed to have given us portraits that we never received. As if that wasn't enough, even after asking countless times for our video they never gave it to us. Despite us asking numerous times it took not only months, but over a year for them to let us know that they lost all of our wedding footage. This was devastating to us as people that were not only in those videos but who also left video messages have since passed away. We have no video of our very special day. I can't quantify the amount of stress and devastation this has caused. If you are searching for a photographer/videographer for you special day, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you want to ensure you will have your memories properly captured and your contract honored to its fullest.
