Very bad experience!! I had my appointment for my Echocardiogram scheduled a year in advance. I…read morewas told my appointment was at 10:30 and I put it in my phone that day. When I arrived the nurse said "we thought you were not coming your appointment was at 10". I apologized and told her I was told 10:30. She cut me off and said "I know you were not told that. ". She then rushed me to the exam room and had me change to a gown while she stood in front of me (no privacy) and scolded me. I kept saying how sorry I was but she would not listen. The technician took over and she was leaving. I began telling the technician my heart is not where it's supposed to be, as I was told to inform by past technicians, the nurse yelled from the hall "What's that supposed to mean?" I told the technician that the nurse had a bad bedside matter. The nurse laughed at me. I ignored her and started explaining to the technician who told me to "stop talking and let me do my job ". I was so upset it was the worst experience. I continued to apologize but she just continued to be rude. I was crying by this time. I was told I had a doctors appointment at 11 and I was making him late. I was done before 11 and had to wait on the doctor so all that was not necessary. I was so glad it was over. This was at Riverside Cardiology Carilion Clinic.

Carilion Clinic cannot seem to bill you. I received bills for my child and paid them. I then…read morereceive a notice from a collection agency that says that I still owe. I called to check on my status but I was told there was not bills outstanding. I continued to receive calls from the collection agency but I could not get details on what I owe. I requested my child's records and made sure I paid the bills for EVERY date she was there. There were no new dates or visits that there was not a bill accounted for that I received. I reported the system as a Hack because I could not find any bill or another date that my child had visited the hospital, and remarkability they found more bills. Carilion was able to send me some bills but NOT all bills and then sent me to collections because they cannot do THIER job. Not my problem anymore. This is not the first time they have tried to swindle money out of my family. NEVER again. I will not use Carilion. They will not see another dime of my money!!!
