We had a lightning strike, and thought it blew out some computer equipment in our office. We called Carl out of caution, as we could not isolate which piece of equipment the smell came from. Carl came out and inspected our office outlets and found a few broken ones, but found nothing that he thought would create the strong smell we were smelling. He went on to inspect the outside walls and found an outlet that he thought might have caused the issue. On inspection it was clear that outside outlet was the source. He replaced that outlet with an upgraded weather resistant GFCI outlet and replaced one other outside outlet that is frequently used on a different circuit. I am thankful that I called as the outlet that was the culprit wasn't even on the circuit I thought the issue was on. Carl was friendly, respectful, and quick. read more
