Leandro's photography is great…read more The problem was that he didn't show because I couldn't wire him the money during my rehearsal dinner because Wells Fargo was closed on Saturday Night. I never was given a contract to sign. Just told that I would get a contract when he was paid. Whatever, so I gave him a check and forgetting that he didn't cash it, I removed the account as cash for all the Vendors on the day of the wedding which was Sunday. Who cashes a check on a Saturday? I couldn't put it back so I transferred the money from another account so Leandro could get his payment but the banks were closed and he said "if you don't pay me in 1 hour, i am not showing up!" This was at my rehearsal dinner!!! I ended up with another photographer of three available who took cash at job site. I would love to know if anyone had an event he shot on June 8, 2014 because he left my job to go to yours. If you had no other plans on a Sunday of June 8th, except my Wedding; why would you quit and refuse to take cash at site of event? tell me only pay pal... Then tell me you are going to a Birthday Party? Leandro only paypals, no charge card processor probably because this is his side job and there are fees to charge machines. I just don't paypal because paypal doesn't have credit card protection and they wouldn't refund my money for package that was never delivered but left at my door supposedly. Oh, and he kept my deposit of $600 as a Engagement Photo Fee, which was included as part of the Wedding Shoot Package. This was agreed but only had we not used him for the Wedding; not if he found something better to do and not show up. Bottom line is... Leandro is good photographer so many would wanna use him and there is a chance that he could find other jobs if you book him and wait to pay him last minute. So, I chose the package which included having a makeup artist on site. Melissa was a dream to work with - from helping me pick out the color I should wear to finding a makeup artist who used her brushes to draw out my natural beauty. It was a great experience. Oscar and Loance both went above and beyond to make sure our experience was absolutely perfect, there was nothing I would have changed! We did our engagement photos with both Oscar and Loance, my husband was so nervous about posing and looking too stiff, but both of them made us feel so at ease, and helped to pose us so we looked effortlessly amazing! They kept us laughing the whole time, and it was just such a fun experience. On our wedding day, Oscar and his crew were incredible. They jumped right into getting all their shots done at our house before the ceremony. Within minutes of meeting them, my mother pulled me aside asking "Sophia where did you find them, They are seriously amazing". Because she was already in awe of how efficient and talented they are. She was stunned. I had myself plus 11 bridesmaids, my godmother and my mother at the house, and he was able to wrangle us all for pictures so quickly, and get everything done so efficiently it blew my mind. None of us had to feel like we were standing around for hours waiting for photos. At the ceremony and reception everything continued perfectly. I haven't gotten all our photos back yet, but the ones we did blew me away. It was everything I had hoped for them to be, and they captured everything I could imagine. For the bridal party photos, Oscar was amazing at once again wrangling our huge bridal party and family, and getting every shot in quickly and easily. One of my bridesmaids was almost 8 months pregnant, and he was able to get all his shots in quickly so she didn't have to stand outside in the heat. More than anything, I so appreciated the friendly attitude and flexibility of this company. I never once felt like I was being an inconvenience, and I felt like any concerns, questions or changes I had were heard. The staff at our venue was causing some issues, and my maid of honor witnessed Oscar standing up to the event coordinator to make sure everything we had been promised from the venue would happen. She was flexible with times, dates and locations. She made some excellent recommendations for sites and times to give the best lighting. She also recommended clothing combinations that allow for great shots. She promised 20 minutes for her session and allowed for a quick clothing change in her contract. In person, she actually gave a bit more time and allowed me to change my toddler midway through for a completely different look. The best part about it was her personality. I have a little boy who on a drop of a dime could go from Dr Jekyll and turn into Mr Hyde and back again before you could blink an eye. She not only managed to Keep the calm Dr Jekyll around through the whole session but got him to genuinely smile. I can't wait to have her do our holiday photos. Last year she got Santa and Mrs Claus and a real-life Reindeer.
