Never have I ever been more impressed with a company! I do not have a visual eye. When they came out to give us a quote, they were able to walk me through every step, explained what they wanted to do, how the were going to do, and helped me envision the final product. Both my husband and I work long hours during the week and in order to accommodate us, they came on a Saturday to explain everything! The quote that they gave us was exactly right, and helped us figure out what we could do with the budget that we had. Our driveway turned out beautiful! I will never use anyone else!

Needed driveway expansion for our travel trailer. Several people on the neighborhood have used Carl's and recommended Brandon and the great work he did. Brandon and crew were fast, efficient and got the job done within two days.

These guys are awesome! Brandon and his crew are hard working and are very professional! The quality of work is outstanding. These guys prepped and laid our concrete foundation for a 24x36 detached garage. Without hesitation, they will forever be our go to guys/company for projects and I will continue to recommend them to everyone! Please give them the opportunity to provide you service, you will not be disappointed!!

****HOMEOWNERS BEWARE**** Do not use Adams Concrete!!!!…read moreEverything started off fine. Came out gave me a quote. Scheduled a date to complete the job. The day came, Monday, and he sent 2 guys to form the area. I first noticed that they didn't pull up the grass. I said something about it and was dismissed. The next day, Tuesday, was the pour day. The "boss", Ray Patrick, was among the guys that were to complete the job. I again mentioned something about the grass. He then had the guys somewhat remove the grass and fill the formed area with dirt. I unfortunately had to leave. When I returned, I immediately noticed that the patio was VERY uneven. I grabbed my level and the bubble couldn't fly the right fast enough. I continued to investigate and also noticed that the boards didn't go all the way to the grass line. It is only 3 1/2". Which leaves an exposed area under the concrete where the dirt is to erode. Ironically, a few minutes later Ray arrives to collect the remaining balance. I brought my concerns to his attention. He began to talk in circles and make it sound as if somehow it's my fault that there was "miss communications" on the fact the the concrete didn't come to the grass line, and that it was too difficult to make the concrete level. He added that you don't want it to be level so the water drains. That I understand, but to be off by 4" is a bit much. In my research, it should be off by just a tiny bit. Continued by a lot of unnecessary talking. He then somehow talked me into what he called "backfilling" around the concrete and laying sod. I wasn't completely sold on the idea and assumed i'd be home. My kids had jujitsu class that evening, therefore I was not home. When we returned, there was loads of dirt all around the concrete. It looked horrible. If I was home I would have stopped it. The next day, Wednesday, I called with my concern. No answer, no returned call. This patterned continued Thursday, Friday, Saturday. By Monday I had my neighbor call from his phone. Eureka, he answered. Again, talked in circles. He did come out and speak with us and seemed somewhat concerned. He came up with a "plan" to pour on top of the existing concrete with an additional cost. This plan did not sit well with me. He said they would be back within a few days. I waited two days and called to get and better idea of when I could expect him. No answer, no return. Again had my neighbor call, he answered and said they'd be out by Wednesday. Tuesday came and I called to see about what time I should expect someone. No answer. My neighbor called, he answered. We were told between 11-12. I arrange to be home and have a male friend present. 12 comes and I call to see where we stand. No surprise, he doesn't answer. So my friend calls from his phone and gets an answer. Need less to say at this point emotions are very irritated. Ray again seems flaky and said they'd be here with in 45 min. 10 min later I get a call from his phone but a different person was on the other line. Ed Porgorzelski. He claimed to be the supervisor and also in the process of purchasing the company. He assures me that he will be coming within 30 min to talk about the issues. A hour later he finally does show up. He agreed that it looked awful. He actually said " this is worst I've seen" He kept saying whatever we can do to make you happy. Do you want your money back? Or we can remove it and repour it? He said " I would like to opportunity to make things right". I wanted it to be right too. He said he would talk to Ray and his wife Pamela about what needed to be done and assured me that he would come back the next day with a contract of the plan. He gave this information to me in writing that he would come back. He seemed sincere and confidant. I truly wanted to trust him. That was short lived. Thursday comes, no show, but he did call saying he would come the next day and to send him a text when I was home for the rest of the day. I did, he responded. I did not hear from him Again. I sent him another text on Saturday and called. No response. I made my final call on Monday to Ray's phone from my neighbors phone and Ed answered. I was very stern in what I wanted. I made myself very clear that I wanted my money back and that I was very upset and disappointed on how Ray and himself have handled this situation. He told me that on Friday Ray and Pam told him that they were going to be coming over and talk to me. Which, obviously did not happen. He then started to go on and with a list of excuses. I told him I didn't care about what other problems were happening with other jobs and that I have been more then patient waiting for this to get fixed. I gave them one last chance to contact me with the final decision on how to get me my money back. I explained that if I didn't not hear for someone by that night that I would pursue negative feedback online, make a formal complaint with the BBB and file a lawsuit with small claims court. I Did not hear back

The only real positive thing I can say about the driveway expansion Adams Concrete performed is…read morethat I now have a bigger driveway. However, the concrete workmanship was sloppy, they failed to deliver on any of their promises, and I'm not very confident my driveway was last more than a few years. 1. Took them several weeks from the time we gave our deposit to the time they started. Zero communication from them as week after week went by, we constantly had to call them, only to be told the rain has delayed their schedule. 2. Driveway isn't level, I don't mean it's slightly not level so rain can run off, I mean REALLY not level. 3. They cut the lines in the concreate by hand using a trough instead of waiting for it to dry and using a saw. Now nearly all the lines are crooked and of uneven depth. 4. Promised to relocate my bush that was in the path of the driveway extension, instead dug and hacked it up and left it sitting against the side of my house. 5. Then promised to replace the bush, never did. 6. They promised to relocate the sod they removed, they didn't. When I pointed this out, they claimed the grass wasn't any good anyways, but that he would replace it with new sod, he never did. 7. Promised to fix the crooked lines, never did. 8. Used too much water when "finishing" the driveway, this resulted in portions of my driveway being nearly white and with an almost shine like finish. 9. There's boot prints in the concrete, brought this to his attention, like everything else, he promised to return and fix, but never came back. 10. His workers left cigarette butts on my lawn, nearly 20 of them. 11. His workers cleaned off their tools on my lawn, I ended up with large puddles of hardened concrete in my grass, I had to break these up with a sledge hammer to remove, because.... you guessed it, he promised to fix, but never returned. 12. They used cheap cement. You want concrete that supports 4000psi, this is what they call a 6 bag mix. 6 bags of cement for every cubic yard of concrete. These guys used concrete that was rated at 3000psi, 25% less strong that recommended. The concrete they poured looked more like a mix of driveway gravel than any cement I've ever seen. 13. He claimed the cement that the concrete supplier brought had calcium added to it which made it dry faster, in order to get it "finished" before it dried he added A LOT of water, this results in my driveway having a very very rough and dusty finish. All that extra water also weakens the cement. When this happens it usually means your driveway will start to fall apart prematurely. 14. They didn't lay any kind of base down before they poured the driveway, another shortcut that will probably mean premature cracking. No subgrade, subbase, or base at all. Where I live, it's all sandy soil, that base was necessary to evenly support the driveway. 15. They also did not "cure" or seal the concrete. This is all the more important because he used cheap cement and then added more water on top of that weak cement. The real kicker is that he did mine and my neighbor's driveway expansion at the same time, and their driveways looks EVEN WORSE than ours. I wish I had done my homework first, if I knew then what I know now, I would have stopped and complained every single step of the way as he cuts corners.
