I've never written a negative Yelp review before, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I was told my return would be completed by April 7 at the latest, but it wasn't finished until April 15. Throughout the process, communication was poor despite multiple follow-ups. I received a generic email on April 10 stating that returns might not be completed on time. It wasn't until after I raised my concerns that I was told I had submitted my documents too late to receive the expected turnaround and they had done me a favor by taking on my tax return. Had that been disclosed during my initial consultation, I would have hired another CPA. After I later received an IRS notice regarding my tax payment, I reached out for assistance and received no response, leaving me to resolve the issue on my own. While the firm ultimately reimbursed the penalties and interest, they refused to acknowledge the broader service issues or take responsibility for the overall client experience. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm. read more

I met Sean after my previous tax guy gave us a bit of a runaround (after trying to do taxes since February). I was able to call and get an appointment for the following week. Sean is very knowledgeable and thorough and cost of service is fair and very reasonable. I appreciated his expertise and sincerity. I was able to ask questions and he explained the rationale for filing. Upon reviewing last year's taxes he caught a mistake in my documents that could get me back more money.
