I worked with CapFoege to organize our financials and numbers in 2018. We got off to a very rocky start as Matt their founder totally ignored all the data and information that I gave them to help them organize and get things categorized correctly. After numerous emails and calls they eventually got it right but created a lot of extra work for themselves and myself. When I followed up last week about organizing the most recent numbers the first email was ignored and the second one took them 6 days to get me a quote for something that should have been a quick email response. When I showed them the lack of correspondence via email they called and apologized but couldn't understand the accounting task and quoted an unreasonable number for the job. We agreed to part ways as my gut was telling me if were already having this many issues than it's not going to be a good fit. read more

Absolutely the worse tax professionals I have ever dealt with. They took my money for three months and didn't do a single thing. They promised to help me save money with QuickBooks, nope another lie. Then when they attempted to set up their profile with QuickBooks it completely shut down my company and locked everyone out. They didn't know what to do. BEWARE... I asked for a refund and they ignored the emails. Matt and Chris should both be ashamed. I will make sure everyone knows about your bad service and lack of follow-through. I had to take down a glowing review that I left for CapForge which I left months ago for Danci, Matt and the CapForge team after being solicited for a review. Just as there other 1 star review says, there work quality completely degraded and the employees did not understand basic accounting concepts, which our team had to spend hours of our back and forth time communicating with them and their staff was not kind nor professional. Lastly, we had them complete a new project for over 6K in which they did not do any of the classification work, which was the whole scope of the project. They uploaded the data into quickbooks online and sent us a poorly formatted excel spreadsheet to have us spend hours doing the work ourselves in the most difficult format when we should have just done it directly on quickbooks with all of their convenient features (memorizing, bulk, etc.). When we tried to bring up how poorly the project went, they fired us as clients and Matt stood us up for a phone call and refuses to do the job or even a phone call about the job and instead has sent rude and bullying emails. They also made mistakes on our payroll and are refusing to remedy them since they simply fired us after not completing the job. They have many remote workers in the Philippines who accidentally emailed us even though Capforge and Matt claims to be based in Encinitas and to be a California, USA company. We recommend not paying Capforge to do your work for you and then bully you. read more
