I was told that their policy was they would only prescribe a new medication within 9 days of being seen and I would have to come back and pay another $179 to address my issue. My prescription didn't run out until 9 days passed! They also said my NP who prescribed my medication was off that day and and another attending would not write a script without seeing me first for another $179. What... I guess the other attending couldn't read my file, or even make a phone call to the NP??? This place is nothing but a money grab, forget being cared for like they care about you, it's all about the money!!!!!

I had to get a mammogram MRI, and was directed by my doctor to go here. It's not the closest to my home, but it wasn't difficult to get to, and there is lots of parking. Of course, medical facilities have to medical facility, and when I went to check in, they did not have the proper paperwork sent from my doctor. Where did it go? Who knows, but I went to sit down in the waiting room while they figured it out. Eventually, the office faxed it over to this office, and all was good. Once I got back to the MRI room, the whole thing went really fast. They explained clearly what was going to happen, they inserted the IV with the dye easily and painlessly, and I was supported and walked through every step. I got headphones that played any type of music I wanted, and I basically just chilled and meditated and breathed while not moving a muscle for 10 minutes. If you need to get an MRI here, don't fret. You are in good hands! They are very straightforward with the process and try to get you in and out efficiently. Bonus: I got my results within a few hours the same day.

My daughter had just been discharged from the hospital on September 19 after spending a week there going through detox from fentanyl. On September 20, she became extremely sick again. She was vomiting very badly and was visibly very ill, so I took her to Hendricks Regional because I was concerned about her condition and wanted her evaluated. When we arrived, her blood pressure was taken and recorded as 114/120. She was then taken to a room, but after that, we were left waiting without any explanation about when someone would come in to evaluate her. Because my daughter was so sick and vomiting severely, I asked the nurse how long it would take for the nurse or the doctor to come see her. The nurse stated that the doctor had other patients and that there was no turnaround time for when the doctor would come in. At that point, after seeing how sick my daughter was and not knowing how long we would be waiting, we decided to leave and seek care at Community East. Before we left, the nurse asked where my daughter and I were going. I told her that because Hendricks Regional was so busy and we did not know how long we would have to wait, we had decided to go to Community East instead. Her response was simply, "Okay," in a manner that came across as dismissive, as though it did not matter that we were leaving with a very sick patient. As a mother, this was extremely concerning and upsetting. My daughter had just gone through a week of detox from fentanyl, had only been home for one day, was vomiting severely, was very sick, and had returned to the emergency department because she needed medical attention. I expected her condition to be taken seriously and for someone to communicate with us about what was happening. I am also African American, and I cannot ignore the fact that experiences like this can leave patients and families questioning whether they are receiving the same level of urgency and consideration as other patients. I am not making an accusation that I cannot prove, but the experience made me uncomfortable and concerned enough that I feel it needs to be addressed. Patients and their families deserve communication, compassion, and appropriate medical attention--especially when someone has recently gone through detox and returns to the hospital extremely sick. I hope Hendricks Regional will review what happened, including the triage process, the communication from staff, and why my daughter was left waiting without being evaluated despite how sick she was.

This is the IU Health - Glendale Town Center practice, a practice devoted to primary care and also…read morepediatrics. There's also a lab available in this office. For those familiar with Glendale Town Center, this is located on the second floor of the offices section of the complex on the side directly off of East 62nd Street. There's a small lobby/storefront area directly next to Mattress Firm that has an elevator that will take you to the second floor. There's also a set of stairs available for those who prefer. I needed to establish care with a new primary care physician as my previous one relocated to Shelbyville and is just a bit too far away for me. I'd previously looked at appointments here, however, they were a couple months out and I skipped it. However, because I attend an IU Health clinic elsewhere they were able to get me in within a couple weeks. They do have automatic doors for those who need them. That's a plus. I also noted very quickly that this was one of the better looking and cleaner IU Health clinics I've experienced. I arrived a good 15-20 minutes before my scheduled check-in time and checked in at the front desk. Because I'm an established IU Health patient, I didn't really need to do much else. I waited in the waiting room until I was called. I was taken back in a timely manner. They asked me how I usually got weighed (I don't usually as most clinics are not set up for wheelchair users) and I did note they didn't have any of the modern tech that would do that without a scale. I was taken into an exam room - very small room that would definitely not be considered ADA compliant. It was so small I had to move quite a bit in order for the employees to get around me. I did like that they had an exam bed that was lower to the ground and adjustable. However, this was definitely not an appropriate room for a wheelchair user. My doctor was Dr. Boyce. We had a nice conversation about my needs for the day. She only works part-time in the clinic and we also discussed that. It was a fine appointment - not outstanding, however, there was really nothing wrong with it. I was somewhat hesitant to establish with IU as they are not the top tier of my insurance, however, Dr. Boyce seems nice and this is very close to my home. So, it should work. My hope is that in the future I can utilize a more appropriate exam room. However, overall, this was a solid experience with friendly staff and a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

They're a busy but caring place. If you leave a message or contact them through email, they will get back to you usually the same day depending on what time you call in. My only complaint is Jennifer, the case manager, telling me our only option to transfer to his next level of care was to go to Allison Pointe. The day after transfer, I went there to be with him and see how well he was settled. I can't believe Jennifer is not aware of how inept that place is. After one day and 2 nights in that horrible place, I was able to make several phone calls and get him transferred to another facility. The facility he is in now says they never heard from Jennifer, although she told me they denied him when she checked with them first. I believe this woman has her own agenda, possibly getting monetary benefits from the lowest ranking facilities. She is not to be trusted. Seton would be much better if they replaced her with a caring individual.

I put a review on Seton website. She has a brain injury. They would leave her lay in soiled…read morediapers. She would finger paint with it. U would push the nurse button, maybe 15 minutes later someone showed up. I started cleaning her myself multiple times. They would use the same gloves and mess with her trach. They would leave her in bed unless you asked for her to be put in a chair. I was told multiple times they don't have the staff to put her on the toilet every time she had to go. They told me to let her go in her diaper. Sometimes she would get cream on her bottom other times not. If I questioned it, they did it. There wasn't any therapy until the week she was leaving, If she was tired or sleeping, she missed her therapy. Their only goal was for her to have the trach removed. 2 days before she went to RHI her breakfast arrived. The thickener wasn't in her juice or tea. She could have aspirated and gotten pneumonia over it. Being on a trach she should have had pureed foods. She was given chopped. RHI couldn't believe it. Very dangerous. Some of the nurses work 6 or 7 days a week for 12 hour shifts. I don't feel like they can give good or great care. I feel like she didn't get the care she needed. All that was done was medicine and diaper changes.
