Instead of shuck and jive, it's Hack and Scam…read more Heidi Johnston and her staff of 1 - Jeramy Wyatt, participate in Scam "insurance inquires" and buy bulk data from data-mining companies like HomeTownQuotes.com. This agency contacted an employee of our company on his company cell phone number claiming they were calling him based on his inquiry and that they could save him money on his car insurance. This was totally false. The employee in question is a kid barely out of high school who is not Internet savvy. All he knew was that he paid a lot (for him) for car insurance through State Farm (although he is very happy with State Farm). But when someone calls from "Allstate" claiming they can get you car insurance for $39/month (I listened to the voice mail that originated the exchange between Johnston and our employee) why wouldn't he contact them. I got involved because after the conversation with Allstate/Johnston/Wyatt (for which Johnston admitted later to me on the phone that she "wrote the script") our employee thought about it a bit a realized something might be amiss. Since I"m the IT Manager and handle all things Internet, he told me about the call. I called and spoke with both Wyatt and Johnston. They claimed that our employee initiated the inquiry even though what started this whole exchange was a voice mail from Wyatt. Our employee never inquired to anyone or any company about car insurance. In fact, at the exact time of day when Heidi Johnston claims they received the information from HomeTownQuotes.com (and she confirmed they get those inquiries instantly) he was working here in the office with no access to a computer. In fact he was in MY office at the time working on a cell phone issue. I had his phone which is his only access to the Internet during the day. The bottom line is that I am shocked as a former Allstate customer that they allow agent like Heidi Johnston and/or Jeramy Wyatt (yes that's how you spell it) to purchase bulk data from scam artists, and then cold call unsuspecting people claiming they are "returning a call in response to their request". When I asked Heidi Johnston about this, her response was "yeah,, I was 20 years old once too, but I knew better than to give out my information to anyone over the phone or otherwise". So they won't admit that they were scamming our employee but DID admit they our employee should have been wary of Heidi Johnston in the first place.

During our conversation, she repeatedly used "YOU" as if this is what I was trying claim, when referring to what the insurance company was seeking, rather than understanding that it was a third-party assessment. When I pointed this out, she became smug and outright denied what she had said just moments earlier. She wasn't interested in listening to understand--only in dictating her position and rushing through the conversation. Regarding our water leak, she made an absurd statement: "If you were there, wouldn't you have been able to respond to the issue?" Our response: "So this happening during work, are you saying I could have shut off the main water supply from work and prevented the same outcome?" Her response? Silence. If you're looking for a company that provides real customer service and genuine empathy during a hardship, this is NOT the agency for you. We asked for help multiple times throughout the day, and when I reiterated, "We are just looking for help," her dismissive response was, "Well, you didn't ask me for help." Why did she think we were reaching out in the first place? With insurance companies already under scrutiny for non-payment and policy cancellations, being treated this way was appalling. As a Veteran with PTSD, she hit every possible trigger, making an already stressful situation even worse. Avoid this agency at all costs.

Constantly dealing with new agents, yet the last straw was when I moved out of state and was assured that my coverage was binding!!! Thank God I spoke with the actual carrier who advised me that my coverage was not in effect!!!!!!!!!!!! Kane kept telling me that this was incorrect, yet was unable to provide me the necessary documentation!!!! I needed battery service today and as usual AAA did an excellent job of sending out a…read moreknowledgeable, polite, and professional guy (Justin). I really appreciated that he did a great job of social distancing and wore a mask as well (as did I) and did a great job explaining the battery issue. He hooked the battery up to the analyzer thingy to test it. He thoroughly explained what the problem was and didn't try to hard sell me a battery which he easily could have. I have never felt pressured by AAA to buy a battery or left confused as to what the problem was with the car. If you do need a battery AAA will bring the battery to you, install it, and it comes with a 3-year warranty. I've always gotten my batteries through them. I decided to have the car towed to a garage instead of dealing with the battery because there was another major issue with the car that would have prevented me from driving it enough to keep a battery charged. He asked me if I needed anything in the car and also if I needed any of the keys on the key ring - which I did and if it wasn't for him asking me I would be without my house keys. He called the tow truck, left the keys on the visor for the truck, and let me know that they would put me keys in the drop box at the garage. Justin told me I didn't even need to be out when they towed the car away. The tow truck was here within 15 minutes. I would highly recommend AAA. I have had such good experiences with them. Everyone they have sent has always been polite and took their time explaining things to me. The customer reps are also very nice and thorough. Thanks Justin and AAA!
