I will say, I believe it is only Diana that is the tough one to work with. Carry is only trying to do what she is told and be a buffer between the witch and the customer. The only reason this entity exists, is so Diana Baribeau (one of the ladies) can have something to do, so she can stay out of her husbands hair while he trys to do his job (Baribeau Real Estate and Appraisals). The relationship started with me having to pay an application fee before I was even able to look at any of their properties. Great way to start a relationship. During my lease, I was never trusted about any issues or concerns I brought to their attention about the home. We were always second guessed. Awful feeling when trying to live in a home you are paying a pretty penny for. The end of my lease was a mess. No communication from their end, and when I was able to get communication, it had to be face to face, with me making the initiative to go to their office...then I was screamed at for 45 minutes and told to go ahead and get a lawyer. Left a really good impression of the business I had given them for a full year.

We arrived at the office late morning as instructed to give her final payment and were greeted with a "You're early. Check in is at 3pm." We knew that and introduced ourselves. They seemed extremely busy and no time for basic instructions. We arrived at the cottage at 3pm and found the place (3 bedroom/2 full baths, full kitchen, big deck) in a great location, private with partial views of the Pemaquid lighthouse and ocean. WiFi (20 mbps), very small cable TV, landline telephone. AT&T not very good in this region. Bring your own sheets and towels. The cottage was not very clean. Left over toothpaste on the holder, sinks rinsed but not all that clean, tape on screens, holes in the furniture, floors neglected and a musty smell. Advertised as immaculate with new furnishings but that is far from accurate. Our stay was pleasant and we were comfortable. It was better than camping but expected more for $1800/week. Next year we'll look for a months rent in the area but need to find a tidier place. Maine Mid-Coast is amazing! Great restaurants and plenty of scenery to enjoy.
