Imagine our surprise when their gorgeous website suddenly popped up! The apartments feature 9 foot ceilings with numerous 8 foot, fully insulated windows with ever changing views of the trees and sky. The floorplan and styling are both top notch, and our apartment is filled with thoughtful design details such as soft close cabinets, drawers, tons of lighting, stylish fixtures and more. Our building is sustainable and efficient, featuring electric appliances, including a ventless washer and dryer and my magical, magnificent induction range (in some units, some have high quality electric resistance ranges). We pay one fee monthly for all utilities and there is an option to choose heated, underground parking! Yes, please. The list of amenities includes a sauna, warp around porch, balconies, well appointed gym, a Sky Lounge and Sky Deck, a small library and game room, and (WOOT) an induction-centered teaching kitchen in which my husband and I hosted a "Soup and Crostini" Snack Session (so fun)! The best part of the Sandpiper is the people, both the residents and Sandpiper Team. When residents meet up, we often discuss how fortunate we are to be here. The developers, management and he superb Community Manager are top notch and responsive. They had a vision of a better way to house people and they deliver on that every day. There are a good amount of workforce units, studios (well designed with barn doors to open or close to extend the space), one bedroom, two bedroom and penthouse units. The town of Brunswick, and this area are superb. Great food, stunning parks and cultural activities abound. After moving away, I am so happy to be home...

I spoke to half a dozen different HVAC providers and had 3 of them come to her home to do an estimate. Of all of them, Mike Greives of Dead River was the only one who took the time to explain the pros and cons of oil vs propane and what was the best solution for this home and her situation. Also, the price quoted from Dead River was the cheapest of all of the quotes I got. Not by a lot but it was the best price quoted of the three. When the time came for scheduling the service they worked with us to book the chimney person, the junk hauler, and took care of all of the details (which a few other companies told me I would have to arrange for!). They also accommodated our schedule since the work was done in the summer and was not an emergency call. On the days of installation, I have to shout out the professional work and wonderful attitude of Dale, Joe, and Dustin. They explained all of the details and left the space cleaner than it started! Even better because 3 people were sent they completed the install in 2 days instead of 3. I am so happy that I chose Dead River and believe you should consider them for a large project like the boiler replacement we had!

She said we made a great decision. She had asked where we were from and some questions. Honestly she nailed it on the head for being so welcoming and friendly. It's that extra thing that will make you remember a place even more! This is a place that has a great variety of items that just about everyone could find something that appreciate or want. Plenty of beautiful pieces of art, home goods, and even some food/chocolates. Some particular favorites my wife and I enjoyed seeing were the moose painting, a beautiful coffee table with a painting of a boat. Also if you are in search of any type of handle for drawers or anything related this would be your local spot to check out. A kind of back room had about an endless amount of variety of handles available. While we did not buy anything this visit, I will remember this shop. An absolute wonderful example of customer service to make you feel welcome even if you are visiting from afar. Lots of beautiful pieces you could pick from to make your new speaking point for those visiting your house!
