I've been nervous to write this as I don't like to share negative reviews. However I feel it's…read moretime. I have been incredibly disappointed with Seem photography in regards to my wedding experience with them. I picked Seem because they did an amazing vibrant job on my glitter photos. When I booked them for my wedding and received my bridals they all had a vintage sepia muted tone. (Picture included) while I loved the actual photos, I was not pleased with the edits so asked if they could brighten them, considering I wanted them bright and they were taken outside. They claimed "that was their style" and that a different photographer does weddings so the tone would be different. I accepted that and was hopeful the wedding photos would not be as muted in color tone. It took 10 full weeks for me to receive my photos, and not until the 10th week mark was I told that 20-22 of my photos were corrupted, I felt they were putting mine off because they didn't want to tell me what happened. They tried to placate the situation by giving me a free large print on card stock valued at "400.00" (it sure doesn't look like it's worth 400 dollars). To me that was not acceptable, a 400 refund or offer to take a small studio session of me and my two best friends and family since those were the corrupted files would have been a much better way to make up for the corrupted files. When I told them I was disappointed they got incredibly short with me and simply asked for my address to email the usb. I do like about half of my wedding photos, with that said I was hopeful that I would be pleased with many more than just half. I also feel that they have gotten very greedy. I have to use their very expensive printing service if I want to print any of my wedding photos bigger than 8x10 because they compress the images and make it so you have to use their service so they can continue to make a profit. This is the only reason the print was valued at 400.00. (Price gouge) They take wonderful portraits, baby photos and family photos, with that said I wish I had done more research on their wedding photos. I will say I was incredibly pleased with the male assistant photographer they used. He did a great job. While Sarah was kind, I am still upset about how the situation was handled with the editing as well as the corrupted files not being told to me until the last minute. I am not bashing this company, I am simply sharing my experience and feelings and want to make sure others know which photographer and style they are signing up for. Had I known the style would be completely different from my glitter photo shoot I would have strongly considered a different company.
