Came to this location on Friday to window shop for a new gun. Jerry did not hesitate to come up to me and introduce himself. He was very knowledgeable and even did a small demonstration on how I should hold my gun, the features of the gun and showed me how to break it down and clean it. I will definitely come back to this company and make my first gun purchase with Jerry!!! read more

Typical "Used car dealer" type gun shop. Prices are higher than average retail and they REALLY low ball you on any gun you want to trade or sell They do have a great selection, but the high prices will disappoint you In some cases, their GunBroker price is lower then their instore price which make zero sense since they have to pay GunBroker Fees read more

Excellent selection of weapons and supplies. Very friendly folks. If you are there to get the GunBroker price, double check your receipt before paying. They might forget and charge you the in-store price, which might be higher. Once you leave, you can forget about getting back the difference. I tried three emails, and all were ignored. I have given very few reviews of businesses online, but after today this store needs an honest review. Anyone can get online and trash someone for the fun of it, but I am here to tell you this store 1) knows there guns, 2) has plenty to choose from in handguns, shotguns, target guns, ammo, accessories, etc. 3) they have sales of all types frequently 4) they sell products that are up to date with today's styles and needs 5) is very friendly and offers assistance even if they know you are just looking around. 6) I have never heard them being rude to anyone in the 10 or so times that I have been in the store. I have purchased more than one gun from here and they were most helpful in getting me the right sales person to answer my needs. I will be back soon to buy my next handgun. They close at 5:30 pm. I walked in at 5:10 with permits and cash in hand. I had already called ahead to let them know I was coming and what I was looking for. I told them I was looking for a handgun for myself and one for my wife. By 5:15 they were already turning off the lights. They simply pointed to a big display with the kind of gun I asked about, but nobody ever came to talk with me about it. A few minutes later, the young girl behind the counter said "Are we gonna do this or not? I'm trying to close out my cash register." The old man behind the counter and the forty something guy in the store had both already rolled their eyes at me and ignored me. A younger man was stocking shelves and never so much as said hello. I have no use for this place. If I run out of ammo and this is the only place in Greenville that carries it, I will drive elsewhere. I went to Flat Swamp Gun Shop in Robersonville and bought both guns for about $60 less per gun and got excellent customer service. read more

The customer service at Colts is just want I needed in looking for a gun to fit my needs. They really care about what you need and what fits you. And not only do they care about the gun, and your needs, but they also want to make sure you are prepared to 'use' the gun by offering classes. I plan to take them up on those classes. The Last four guns I have bought have been from colts and that will not be changing, last night I went and bought the new Retay shotgun. like always the service was amazing, the two young employee that have long hair (I suck with names) are super nice and knowledgeable. they really do have the best gun prices around, go check them out you will not regret it! read more

I'll try to make this short. I asked an older man sitting on a stool behind the counter if I could see one of the 1911's behind the glass. He said "We stopped doing that years ago" and suggested I might try and run out the store with the weapon. I thought about telling him I was actually a police firearms instructor, but wanted to be treated like any other customer. After further questioning he discovered I was interested in the gun as a college graduation gift from my parents. That is when he insulted me by saying "Boy, aren't you a little old to be graduating from college?" I will never set foot in this store again. read more
