Feedback I went to Carolina OBGYN in Rock Hill on 8/30 as a transfer patient. Right away I was met with a warm, friendly staff. This is my first baby so I was hoping to establish care and make a connection with Dr Hubbard but the connection wasn't there. I know I'm 39 and supposedly high risk but being told I'm old multiple times was unwarranted and unnecessary this is an exciting time for me and I know how old I am. This just isn't how you talk to people. Plus it's not like I'm 70. Have some compassion. Also, I had taken extra time and effort to make sure my records were sent weeks before hand (240 pages). They were sent several different ways from my previous provider, fax, and email and still there was confusion about what tests I already had?! I was told I needed an STD panel and a Pap smear. The latest full STD panel was done on July 5 just a month earlier this can be seen in the first few pages of my file! My Pap smears have been normal and the last one was done 2020, with the next scheduled in 2023, also clearly noted in my medical records I sent over! I was under the impression it was every three years now with a normal Pap?! Perhaps this could have been better explained?! It seemed unnecessary for me to repeat these again, no other provider believed it was necessary given they have been normal. Also, urine sample didn't seem necessary to determine if I'm pregnant since It's pretty obvious I'm not hiding a pillow in my undergarments. Its frustrating because It's very clear even if one were to glance at the first few pages of my medical history which I did take the time to send and not have a clinical background to see the necessary information needed. More so, assumptions were made about me needing to be referred to the Diabetic Center prematurely w/ the declaration that this wasn't gestational diabetes but rather pre diabetes. This is a big conclusion to jump to without Dr Hubbard even taking the time to review any of my records, if he had he might have seen that my A1c levels prior to pregnancy, were all below 5.7, in addition everything I've been tracking over the last few weeks indicate my blood glucose well within range so something I'm doing must be working, right? Also, My records indicate that I had seen a diabetes specialist and was tracking blood glucose to determine trend. My trend over the last few weeks of tracking were actually really good as I had made the suggested tweaks in my diet. When such a big declaration is made without the facts is where I lost credibility for Dr Hubbard. This is someone who is quick to diagnose without asking questions and reviewing the medical records I struggled so much to send to make sure whoever saw me was in the know. Dr Hubbard would do better going off of the provided data and facts only from there can such strong declarations be made. Finally, there were inconsistencies with the final recommendation. After being referred to the diabetes center, I get a call after my visit saying my blood sugar log looked great and it wouldn't be necessary for me to go to the diabetes center to which I said that seemed logical, followed by a call a few days later saying it was necessary for me to go. So which is it? These inconsistencies create confusion for me, the patient. I'm addition, I have a fibroid which Dr Hubbard declared was going to cause pain and what not again I am all for receiving tough information but he said this without knowing the size nor location if he had taken the time to review my medical records he would see the previous doctors had written up that it was definitely something to watch out for but was located in a place that wasn't going to harm my baby and was quite small in size, also if he had felt my abdomen he would see there was no pain why bother making any predictions? He had even asked me what size it was and where it was located. These details were all detailed in my medical records!!!!! With such a disappointing and frustrating visit, I have since arranged for treatment elsewhere where I can get truthful honest care based on facts and data with a doctor who doesn't mind thoroughly reviewing my medical records and knows how to be compassionate all in one. Dr A at Novant Rankin has been simply fantastic and I would highly recommend her if you want to experience a happy healthy positive pregnancy. Steer clear of Piedmont Physicians. Ps- EPIC makes it so easy to share records with other facilities since several are on the same system. Was no trouble sharing with Novant and they actually review all the charts before making such bold unfounded statements. Piedmont Physicians would do well to study Novant Health and Virginia Mason and Thedacare to learn about what they are doing so well to improve patient care by making it patient centered. read more

Dr. Hubbard was great. I have been living with my condition over 20 years and he was able to diagnose me in two visits. I have already seen a difference in my body with the medicine he prescribed. I am grateful for him. I would recommend him to anyone. His nurse is very nice as well. read more

Absolutely awful. they won't answer questions and always run out of the room whenever you try to ask anything. my pregnant girlfriend goes here and they treat her like absolute sht. Like I said they never answer any questions and won't elaborate whenever you ask. she's 27w and last night she was having extreme contractions and we thought she might've gone into early labor. we went to the ER close by, that sent us to her main hospital, which then sent us to do an appointment with Dr. Morrison who understandably couldn't make it because she was giving birth. At the appointment they basically did everything that both hospitals did at 12am and 2am when we went. except I can't go in with her here (they do it for covid, so I can understand that) aside from the absolute lack of care from the doctors, the nurses are all incredibly rude except for Cindy, who is amazing. every appointment we have been to she comes back to the car very frustrated and deeply dissatisfied. needless to say we've tried changing OB's but we can't because they're all in the same system and apparently that means you have to stay at the one you started at. unfortunately the one we started at is this absolute dumpster-fire of an OB. I wasn't going to write this, in fear of discrimination of her, but honestly they already do the absolute bare minimum so i'm not sure what less they could possibly do. unfortunately we're stuck here with these doctors who don't care and don't listen. so if you know what's good for you, don't go here and end up with the same trash care that we get. read more

When I called Carolina OB/GYN I spoke with Michelle Hartley. She was short and dismissive. She became irate by my questions and decided that the practice was not for me because she assumed I was not OK with the rotating practicing which I expressed I was and I understood how to practice worked. She then proceeded to tell me I did not understand how her practice worked and that they probably wouldn't be the place for me. If you have questions comments or concerns this will not be the office for you. These will not be the people you want to talk to. I have been to two other OB/GYN's in york county. I never felt as if I was more than a name on a chart. Dr. Morrison addressed and knew my concerns without me having to say a word. I couldn't have been more pleased with my visit or with the people. Dr. Morrison was very personable and and so easy to open up with. Like she was part of my squad. I will not be looking for another OB/GYN!!! read more

Everyone here is very friendly. They made me feel very comfortable. I like that they are a smaller practice than some of the others in town. It's easier to get to know everyone. Dr. Hubbard delivered one of my daughters and he sang Happy Birthday to her. It shows he really loves what he does! I will always choose Carolina OB/GYN. The other practice in town that I went to had way too many doctors and felt very clinical and rushed. When you're expecting you don't want to meet 12 different doctors and get down to the day of delivery and not know the one who's delivering your baby. I don't have to worry about that with Carolina because they have 3 caring and knowledgeable doctors. It feels more like family. read more

If I could give this place a ZERO, I would. These doctors are absolutely terrible and have no bedside manner what-so-ever. When my sister was pregnant with her first child the doctors were in and out of the room within two minutes and never onced asked if we had any questions. And when it came time for the fetal anatomy ultrasound, the ultrasound tech didn't even do half of the vital organs! As for myself, my birth control prescription ran out and I already had my yearly appointment set up with them and they still wouldn't re-fill my prescription until I kept that appointment which was TWO weeks down the road (because that's my fault it's their earliest appointment?). So, now my body has no idea what is going on because I haven't been able to take my birth control which I have been on for SIX years. This place is an absolute joke. read more

On 10/02/17, I had a consultation with Dr. Morrison regarding a Mirena IUD. She told me that since I had two prior c-sections that I may have scar tissue, and experience cramps. She prescribed Cytotec to take orally the night before and Xanax. My procedure was on 10/17/18, I experienced intense cramping and pain both during and after the procedure and was told to take OTC meds for pain. I was not told until after the procedure that if I had not had a vaginal birth that it could be more painful. If I had known this information, I would not have had the IUD inserted. read more

I was recommended to go here after we found out we were pregnant with our second child. We didn't have the best experience with our first ob office but what a sigh of relief this place is! All of the girls in the front desk know what is going on and never put me on hold for an outrageous amount of time. I've only seen Dr Hilton and she was wonderful. Made me feel very comfortable! I love how that put all costs and process right in the table with you're very first visit. There are no surprise bills. They sat us down in a very professional manner explaining absolutely everything. I will further my review once we actually deliver but so far very impressed! read more
