From the moment we met with her, it was apparent that she was professional and knowledgeable. She was extremely helpful during the early phases of wedding planning. She helped us navigate many of the early questions and concerns we had about the catering, cutlery, linens, and more. Sara's incredible menu selection blew us away. Her offerings covered many different cuisines - from Asian, Italian, and BBQ to traditional. We went through many different versions of our buffet menu before finally nailing everything down. With her extensive menu, we were confident we could decide on a menu that appealed to everyone on our guest list. It's one thing to taste her incredible food--it's another to see it for yourself. What sets Sara apart is her unbelievable displays! A week before the wedding, she reached out to me to ask about my color scheme, and when I saw pictures of the cocktail hour, I saw she had incorporated the colors into her display using stunning flowers and greenery. Instead of laying the soft pretzels we ordered on a white platter, she hung them on a metal pole. Everything else was artfully scattered on wooden platters to match the rustic nature of our venue. It elevated our cocktail hour to a level you would only find in a movie! As beautiful as the food was, it was even more amazing to finally taste it! The pot roast melted in your mouth, the carrots came with a fantastic glaze (people are still telling us how much they loved them), and the seasonal vegetables were outstanding. Typically, wedding food is very forgettable, but the number of wedding guests who continue to tell us how phenomenal the food was is still mind-blowing! We could not recommend Sara and her catering services enough! You are definitely in good hands!

They did our late October wedding at Pinerock Farm. We spent over $22,000.00 for the catering. The…read morebride and groom had worked with Sara to chose their foods, but the parents paid the bill. I called Sara months in advance, after reading the contract and seeing they provide no plates or flatware to eat with! This was a black tie wedding, so beware, if you don't catch this, with this caterer, there is no dish service...you will spend thousands renting and I hope you enjoy setting tables and washing dishes. I had asked Sara, again, months in advance, if it would be possible to provide that service(setting the tables) at extra cost and had to wait a few days for her to call me back stating that she found staff to do these tasks. I was quite relived. I also asked about adding coffee and tea service and she advised me on the type of cups to purchase. On wedding day, the ladies (moms and bridesmaids) were gathered at the barn for hair and make-up. I noticed pallets of dishes and no one setting up. I contacted her and she texted me that it was not in the contract and no one was coming!!!! I missed my own hair/make-up scrambling to find help setting the formal china, crystal place settings for 170 people!! It was extremely stressful!!! It took two hours to do and caused me a lot of stress. Later, the food was served on icy cold plates, sauces congealing on contact. Many guests commented on this. At dessert, no coffee service appeared even though the cups and accessories were laid out. When I approached to ask when the coffee service would be out (guests were asking me) she pulled a paper from her pocket and waved that in my face informing me that she did not work for me, she worked for the bride. It was a twisted knife in the gut and her snarky demeaner and smirk were disgusting!!! Maybe her head is getting too big, she likely just forgot to add the items to the contract and could not take responsibility for her mistake. Instead Sara took away from my thorough enjoyment of my son's wedding. So no, I would not recommend this business, which thinks it's better than the customer. Her service was FAR FROM exquisite!!! Sara needs to learn what customer service is. You can't skate on your prior reviews forever.

The quality/talent level is up to par, but the customer service level, organization, and timeliness of this business are lacking. We did not receive the photographer we had requested upon booking. We also did not receive the correct type of photo booth that was discussed upon booking. The photographer that did show up on the wedding day was not utilizing the shot list I had provided/that he had on his phone. It was frustrating to miss out on some of the photos we wanted due to a lack of preparedness. In general, it was difficult to get in touch with questions. I called/emailed several times for a status update after the wedding. I received a long, snappy email with a mathematical breakdown of how busy Daniel is. I was told "I spend X number of hours per week answering emails like yours," If that were true I would have received a response much sooner than I did. A shorter, more polite/professional email would have sufficed. I understand Daniel and the team are busy, but I am a client who is paying for a service, and I don't appreciate the way I was spoken to. It is not my fault that the owner is spread so thin through photographing, editing, and answering calls/emails (as his email to me explained). It is moments like these where truthfully, I don't think Sensational Images was worth the trouble. Upon booking, we discussed that I'd be able to receive family photos back early (for Christmas gifts) and 1-2 photos for Thank You cards. After the wedding, I was told by Daniel in a condescending email that etiquette dictates that cards can be sent up to 6mos after the wedding. While this may be true, I would have preferred to send our Thank You cards out in the same year that our wedding took place. One of the pages in our photo book included the wrong photos with people's faces cropped out. I received no email or notification stating a problem, but I did receive an email saying the book was ready for production. I don't understand how ANY of the photos would not have been high-quality enough. They are professional photos. In the end, I ended up ordering a photo book elsewhere. The book was included with our package/an "added value" item. However, the item was not worth the value, and the hassle was not worth my time. I would not recommend Sensational Images. I feel that given the price, it would be a better experience going with a photographer who might cost a little more, but who treats their clients with professionalism, respect, and with timeliness in mind.

Daniel was perfect for our engagement photos as we had a lot of ideas we wanted to do. He let us try anything and everything with a little direction while still getting the photos he wanted us to take. The photos turned out beautiful. For our wedding photos, Roger was perfect for what we needed. We really didn't have any clue as to wedding photos we wanted. If we did, we couldn't remember them as it was a hectic day! As soon as Roger came into the church he started snapping pictures. His take charge attitude was perfect for the day. Everywhere I looked he was taking photos of something or other. He even crawled around on the floor at the reception to try and get a picture of us dancing in our boots. The ideas and previews he showed us were breathtakingly beautiful. He even stayed extra time that night to make sure he captured everything. He even asked us before he left if there was anything else we wanted pictures of. I can't wait to see our wedding photos!

I attended my cousin's wedding here last week, and our whole family was very impressed! This…read morebuilding is an old barn that has been renovated into a banquet center. It still has the barn/farmhouse vibe that was a perfect fit for the bride and groom. It is conveniently located off of the main road, so it was only a 10 minute drive from our hotel in Mt. Pleasant. The parking lot was huge and there were no issues with finding parking. They had everything beautifully displayed inside from the centerpieces, to the seating arrangements to the favors. Our family brought all of that in of course, but the venue had twinky lights and tulle around the railings and the venue. The bar carried all types of alcohol and even let guests do shots. The bartenders were friendly and patient with our crazy family. Once seated, the staff brought around bread and salads. The tables were perfectly spaced apart and it was very comfortable for 160 guests. They had a station on the dancefloor for appetizers which included cheese and crackers, stuffed mushrooms, mac and cheese bites, and meatballs. The stuffed mushrooms and mac and cheese bites really hit the spot especially since we were all so hungry after the ceremony. Their actual wedding ceremony was in a different location, but I imagine you can have your ceremony and reception at Bell's if you wanted. The dinner was served buffet style, and we were led up to the food table by table. The food was really hot and was delicious, and people at my table raved about the broccoli stuffed chicken. After the speeches, dinner, and drinks, it was time to dance. The staff quickly moved all the food away and opened up the dance floor. Everything was done very efficiently. Toward the end of the wedding, we all went outside to do a sparkler send off. It felt like we were only outside for 10 minutes, but when we came back the whole venue was torn down. I was so impressed. They really did a great job. My cousin, aunt, and uncle all said that Ian was a pleasure to work with. They were so stressed out about how terrible the ceremony venue was to work with (a nearby winery), and were so happy and thankful for Ian and his crew at Bell's. They recommended it to everyone at the wedding, and all of the guests clearly had a great time. I don't know any pricing info, but from a guest's perspective, it was a beautiful venue and everything ran smoothly.
