We (bride and groom) are self-proclaimed 'awkward photo takers' and are not naturally adept at knowing how to pose for pictures. She reviewed my ideas and came up with the perfect location for author headshots. She emailed and texted before the shoot to check in with me, and during the shoot, she was so friendly, creating a fun and positive environment during what could have been awkward (I don't love having my photos taken!). Wearing a mask added another level of difficultly trying to engage with the kids, but she did wonderful, and we appreciated her wearing the mask while in our home. He was extremely rude about the amount of space he had at the new location with no interest in trying to make it work from the get go. Made the bride cry and left after four songs, (which were at a volume that was too low for anyone to hear.) He also forgot his microphone. He was paid $2200 for this. As a wedding planner I was appalled. I would not usually bash a small business but I would hate for anyone else to be victimized by his unwillingness to accommodate on their most special day when the music is such an important element.

After making the bride cry over the phone because it was just too much for him to take down and set up again, he agreed to come and play 4-5 songs. He kept his full $2200 and left in the beginning of the reception, 3 hours before he planned for. The bride pleaded again, but he was cold and left. No decency, should be ashamed of himself! I honestly hope this is the last wedding he ever participates in- the guy sucked to begin with! No microphone to even announce or help with the ceremony, as was originally planned. This guy should sell the rest of his equipment to someone who cares. Go find a different hobby, because he was not professional or held up his end of the bargain. Literally took his money and ran in front of over 100 witnesses. DJ Dave deletes unfavorable reviews from The Knot and Wedding Wire. It's how he maintains his 5 star reviews.
