While Carolyn is a critical thinker, she is also empathetic, possessing a high emotional literacy. Using her ability to quickly assess who a person is, she then employes her strong command of the English language to draw out that inner personality of her Subject. Combining her linguistic and interpersonal skills with her eye for composition, plus her training in Portraiture, she is able to make focal length, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together in harmony with light and shadow to produce photographic Portraits that have superior depth and emotion, and a unique tactile quality. Her primary goal in life is to create images that weave a thread which connects generations of people to one another through the visual medium of Portraiture.
