Hello, to you, who is reading this post. I am a retired (21 yrs) US Army Vet, with eleven (11)…read moresurgeries and six (6) in the last six (6) years on seven (7) body locations (both hips at the same time) with two (2) foot surgeries (2014 & 2019) and Dr Kazak performing my foot surgery (Morten's Neuroma) December of 2019. I know you "KNOW" pain that is indescribable, inconceivable and not understandable by many who have no pain! Whether you are considering surgery for the first time or you've already had surgery(ies), Dr Kazak is not only a "GREAT" surgeon (I no longer suffer with the pre-surgery pain), his "BEDSIDE MANNER" is AWESOME! During my consult, where I first met him, his personality and aura was very cordial, nurturing and inviting. He made me feel like I was a friend as we spoke; someone who you could hang out with on a weekend. He provided me with a personal direct contact number which he responded to "ALWAYS" and in a TIMELY manner. He truly is in the business of healing and nurturing, not only physically but also metaphysically. It can be very intense, cause much anxiety and possibly scary to go-under-the-knife, but knowing that your surgeon is truly concerned with your wellbeing can/will sooth the entire medical experience. DR KAZAK IS IT!

Dr. Kazak has treated my feet ant ankles for a couple of years at the VA now. Nothing stops Dr…read more Kazak from doing his outmost for his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Kazak.

Dr. Tovmassian is outstanding in his knowledge, technique (I had a steroid shot), communication,…read morekindness, and his manner of treating a patient as if that patient were the only person in his office. I have not experienced this level of healthcare in quite some time. I highly recommend him. His office staff is lovely and efficient. Everything is electronic and it is actually kind of fun to fill things out on an iPad! Although I am a native English speaker, his office staff seem to be multi-lingual!

I made an appointment with Sacramento Foot and Ankle Center because my longtime podiatrist, Dr…read more Kirby, closed his private practice and joined this office. I specifically wanted to continue seeing him. When I first called, I asked to be a cash-pay patient. I was told that because I have insurance, I could not pay cash and instead needed to obtain a referral and use my insurance. So I went through the hassle of getting a referral, which was approved, and then scheduled my appointment. At 6:13 p.m. the night before my appointment, they sent me a text stating that I needed to complete pre-registration or I "may experience a delayed start time or risk cancellation." I completed all of the required paperwork immediately. Then, at 1:00 p.m. on the day of my 3:00 p.m. appointment--after I had already arranged to take time off work--they called to tell me that Dr. Kirby does not accept my insurance, even though they had already received and approved my referral. They also told me that I could not simply pay cash because it would be illegal for them to charge me as a cash-pay patient while I have insurance they don't accept. To make matters worse, they said I would need to obtain an entirely new referral if I wanted to see a different provider in their office because my authorization was specifically for Dr. Kirby. I have no interest in seeing another provider there. What is most frustrating is that they had my referral well in advance. There was no reason this insurance issue couldn't have been identified before the day of my appointment. Waiting until just two hours before my visit to cancel wasted my time, cost me time off work, and showed a complete lack of respect for patients' schedules. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this office based on how poorly my appointment was handled.

RUN from this place! June 2021 I made an appt bc my foot hurt and I was worried something was wrong. They were nice and had an open schedule so they got me in. At the appt I met with Dr. Annalisa who was polite and professional and talked to me for about 10 mins and then took an x-ray at her office. She called a couple days later and said my foot was fine and to not worry about it, just keep going about my life. I was relieved, so I did. It wasn't until late July 21 that I was worried I never got follow up paperwork or any documentation on scan etc, so I called the office to tell them. I even asked if it was correct I never got an insurance statement. They said the acct was all settled up and no paperwork was due so I thought that was how they do business and that was that. Fast fwd to December when a very agressive lady called me and started making demands. She said she was w/Olympic Foot and Ankle and wondered why I hadn't paid my bill? I told her the story about never getting anything to which she cut me off and said they had mailed a lot of letters. It was odd because I had not moved and received no letters. She then started rattling off charges like a "new patient fee." I told her that was likely a misunderstanding because I wasn't becoming a patient, I just came in for a scan. She was aggressive and said if I was new I had to pay $235! While I pushed back that was a lot, I asked if she could get the Dr (who was nice as I remembered) to call and we could discuss? I explained it was likely a mix up and I'd be happy to work it out. She said I also had to pay $55 for the scan. I said, OK can I pay for that and wait for the Dr to call back about new patient, and asked if that was ok. She started raising her voice and getting mean, I tried to stop her but she wouldn't and said if I didn't pay the $235 she would send me to collections! I couldn't handle it, I hung up. Link below is half the video, the first half is her saying she's personally sending me to collections, the second half is her saying I'm stupid and don't know what a city/state is and talking about things she knows nothing about regarding my formal education - she tells me 'I should go back to college because I don't sound that bright on the phone" while she works as a receptionist at a foot doctors office. Also, they did send me to collections and I explained to the collections agency my situation. They called the office and also tried to reach a more senior person to get to the bottom of it and come to a resolve. They called w/the msg that the patient wanted to pay for the scan and wanted to plead my case. They also couldn't get anywhere with the staff. The collections agency noticed the office LIED on the paperwork about the service date being June of 2023, which this was 2021. Since they did so the collection agency fired them - they told me it was resolved for them and I''d be removed from their system! Fast forward to March 2024, they have started sending statements again. If you have any kind of foot or ankle, RUN!! Recording can be listened to here: https://rb.gy/onnvls
