My son attended this school for two…read moreyears, and during that time I became increasingly concerned about how the administration handles reports regarding children's safety and well-being. When I raised concerns about my child, as well as other children in the classroom, I expected those concerns to be taken seriously and thoroughly addressed. Instead, I felt dismissed and unsupported. Rather than working to resolve the issues I brought forward, my family was ultimately asked to leave the school. What is particularly troubling is that many of the teachers are caring, dedicated, and truly phenomenal with the children. However, it was evident that they were often understaffed, overworked, and placed under significant pressure. I repeatedly expressed concerns that some classrooms lacked adequate support and that the overwhelming demands placed on staff contributed to behavioral issues among the children, including incidents where children were hurting one another. As a parent, these experiences raised serious questions about the school's commitment to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and appropriately supervised environment. Parents trust daycare providers with their most precious responsibility--their children. That trust requires transparency, accountability, and a genuine willingness to listen when concerns are raised. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Instead of feeling heard and supported, I felt that legitimate concerns were minimized, and raising them ultimately resulted in my family being removed from the school. For those reasons, I cannot recommend this daycare to families looking for an environment where concerns about children's welfare are consistently taken seriously.

My daughter adores all of her teachers and all of the people that work here. She is eager to get up and go to school every morning simply to be with her teachers and friends. Lightbridge Academy helps you feel at ease knowing your child is safe with the face detector recognition to unlock the door to access the facility, and access to the cameras is a plus when I want to know what my child is up to!

My step son has only ever been in a home daycare and we were all really nervous about his transition into "big boy" school. All of the staff are so kind and caring and he seriously asks us if he can go to school even on the weekend. They provide an app that gives us updates throughout the day such as meals and pictures of him in different activities. Definitely a relief knowing he's happy and learning in a safe environment everyday.

I had to remove my child from here because my child is constantly sad when she comes home and constantly in fear or hesitant, if you will, because she tells me some of the teachers are telling her to shut up on a daily basis. I don't understand what would make somebody think they can talk to somebody else's child this way. Again, very unprofessional. It is also a very unsanitary environment, as my child has come home with her head itching before and I've had to have my wife check, long story short there was lice all over my child's head. I've driven inside the parking lots and have seen rats running everywhere, my child has also complained about rats being in the playground. Every time my child comes home she's constantly telling me the teachers are always being rude to each other or always yelling at each other, I've also noticed this a couple times when coming to pick up my child, I wouldent recommend working with kids for everybody, especially not some of these teachers, sorry global learning, thanks but no thanks.

No school has come close to being as amazing as this one! All of the staff at the school are warm and loving and the class sizes are small. Even my son's speech pathologist that comes into the school always says how wonderful of a place it is and how authentic and nurturing the staff is. My son runs through the door every morning and we are always welcomed with a smile. I feel like I am dropping him off at a relative's house. I picked my daughter up 3 separate times & she had wood chips in her mouth or stickers that they'd give the kids. I kept her pointing out to staff that these were choking hazards. You're charged a "refundable" deposit when you enroll your kid, except they don't refund you. My daughter cried every single time I'd drop her off despite being there for months and I could never understand why until I observed one of her teachers dragging her across the playground by the arm, she's 2.

Even though she wasn't enrolled yet, Brianna still checked in on us regularly -- asking how my daughter was doing, how I was holding up emotionally, and how my husband was managing. She took time out of her busy day to send uplifting words and constant encouragement, and that meant more to me than she probably knows. When my daughter officially started, they made us feel so welcomed and reassured. As a first-time mom, I was incredibly nervous and scared, but they've made the transition such a positive experience. I receive consistent updates through the app about feedings, diaper changes, and playtime -- along with sweet pictures throughout the day. It truly gives me so much peace of mind.
