I think it is very poor professionalism for your store manager to be walking around in jeans, a…read moreflannel shirt, and cowboy boots. Your manager on duty to be walking around with a very low cut shirt on and her cleavage hanging out. Your poor employees that work in cold departments that cannot wear a black jacket around the store without having to buy one of the Schnucks jackets. Your managers walking around blurting out to each other about how they want to write employees up. Your managers walking around are no better than any other person in your stores, yet they walk around on their high horses. Schnucks is just a glorified Save A Lot anymore with poor ethics, poor professionalism, poor decision making, and very poor leadership that target women over men. To force your employees to purchase a jacket because it has Schnucks on it is outrageous when these people are working in cooler and freezers all day. Your store managers really need to go through some training to get the correct skills needed to work equally with women and men and to learn the skills how to keep your "Friendliest Stores in Town" slogan because as of now Schnucks is a joke to the community. When the monarchs of Schnucks past away and their kids and grandkids started making the decisions, has made your stores a laughing stock. Schnucks better change their whole attitude because you will go under with these kind of procedures and people.

This review is specifically for the deli counter. I've been in there on both Monday & Friday night…read morearound the 6:30pm hour and the worker had has the deli lights off and she was extremely rude on both occasions, refusing to take orders because she already cleaned the equipment. Both Monday @ 6:40pm and now Friday @6:30pm I asked when the deli closes and she replied at 7pm! My response was it's 6:30... She proceeded to turn away and ignore me along with several other customers that were trying to ask her questions. If the deli counter is advertised open until 7pm, then they should be serving until 7pm. If not, adjust your operating hours to 6pm so the employees can casually clean at their convenience for however long they choose. I would understand if both times I showed up at 6:59 asking to slice cheese, along with a ton of other things but 20mins early the first time and 30mins early the second time within a two week period is ridiculous. And for the employee to be rude to myself and other customers on top of it is just mind blowing! I've had nothing but pleasant interactions with every other employee in this building except for the deli employee working tonight and on Monday a few weeks ago. If she doesn't want to work, don't make her and just keep the deli closed.
