The bars need to be replaced in order to get a good fixing. The guys in the shop don't want to deal with the problems with their carpet fitters. The carpet fitters said they had dealt with the problems when they hadn't. If the owner didn't have the ability of a small child in handling complaints and the carpet fitters weren't liars my experience of purchasing carpets would've been a lot better. The website says the carpet fitters are experts. They are only expert in lying.

Still, I recently ventured into Formby Flooring (for flooring, surprisingly) and I found their collection was fairly extensive and good value for money. Whilst it wasn't the most exciting place to go (what flooring shop is?), I found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable as they were able to help me with my queries, of which there were many. I was there looking for laminate flooring but they also have a range of carpets, rugs and cushions and whilst they aren't the most interesting things to read about, it is still useful to know a good place to go fairly locally if you don't fancy a trip to Homebase or somewhere further away. They also have a free quotes service which can be especially handy when you are scouting around for the best deals.

Extremely poor fitting of blind. Fitter rushing job, used wrong screws and was going nuts because…read morethe screws were snapping when trying to drill the screws straight into metal instead of drilling a hole first.. He was asked to leave as was really rude to me. Manager apologised and sent a second filter out. When she took the poorly fitting pelmet and blind down, we could see he'd bent the bracket, screws were sticking out of the wall, he'd gone up both sides of my wall with his drill leaving black scuff marks and had ripped the wallpaper.. And he had left it like that, as finished, no apology for the damage done. Second fitter did a better job, and her screws didn't snap!! She asked if she could take photos of the pathetic job he'd done to show to her manager. I got huge apology but that was it,considering the damage done. I will have to paint my whole lounge now as the difference in colour will show if I only paint the sides. So phoned Hannahs blinds back and asked for the cost of some paint, as this negligence on their part... And feel this was more than fare on my part as I could have asked for more.. And I got £20.. Really big of them.. All I can do now is hope that the rips don't show. I wish I'd gone elsewhere and definitely will when I get the rest of the house done. Also wish I'd read the other bad reviews on Trust pilot first and I wouldn't have used them. My advice, avoid this firm
