I found the phone I wanted but it was only in stock on the orange network and I wanted it on O2 as I wanted to reuse my old sim card. The staff were happy to check to see if my O2 sim card would work with the orange phone. It did not work but that was useful to know and they tried to offer an alternative phone. Eventually I got my phone elsewhere but I felt the staff were very good and I would definitely look in Phones 4 U again.

The deals are good but the staff are a bit well rude. one chap asked to look at my partners phone and went straight to her private pictures without asking. Another friend of mine bought a phone for her teenage daughter and was horrified to find the staff had taken inappropriate photos and left them on there. Im never going there again!!!!

O2 in Truro is on the piazza near Marks and Spencer's. It is fairly small but it can get quite busy…read moreas times. I bought my most recent phone from here and found the shop overall to be very good. The prices are slightly higher than on over networks on pay as you go but there are ways to save money. If you are already a O2 pay as you go sim card with credit, it is worth looking here as they let me get a new phone without a new sim card for cheaper. Another way to save money is to bring in an old phone to trade in, they will then take £10 off the price of your new phone and send the old one to charity. Although it can be quite busy the staff are friendly and I did not feel rushed. They may not be the cheapest but the staff are good.

Gadget World is tucked away behind Mallets Home Hardware in Truro. The entrance is next to the back…read moreof Somerfield so is quite quiet. The shop is quite small so it can be quite difficult to move around. At the front are the gadgets but towards the back there are internet terminals which can be used for a price. I have never seen anyone use these when I have been in there. Gadget World seem to be good for small, fun gifts but it is unlikely you will find something to buy for yourself in here. I do recommend Gadget World although it is a bit out of the way to get to.

They poise at selling products such as Mac/PC Desktops & laptops, gaming products, computer accessories such as printers, webcams etc aswell as DVD Players, TV's and computer components. The few times I've been in the store I've been impressed with the level of service. A small note is to perhaps consider that the prices are often alot more expensive in this store than online.
