This review is meant for all Ipercoop stores regardles where they are located…read more When you walk into a store and see a child's miniature pre-caste plastic toy pony/horse which actually costs a few cents to mass produce in China but in Ipercoop its on sale at 11 Euro's you know something is seriously wrong. Just for the record, this small plastic toys can be purchased in other parts of Europe for around 1.5 Euro. A walk around the children's toy section does nothing to make the situation better. None educational brand toys mass produced in Asia, in Ipercoop they are on sale at around 6-8 times what they should be. It does not matter which Ipercoop store in whatever city, the products prices are shocking, walk around, see mass produced low price products on sale for what are unbelievably high prices. Yes they are nicely presented and stacked on the store shelves but that does not justify the unbelievably high prices. Synthetic mass produced shirts being offered for a sale price which in other countries would purchase up to six of the same product. The price tags on clothing, food products, on everything were shocking. The more I looked at the prices in this store the more confused I became, I kept asking myself how is it possible that this store is not under investigation by some government authority? Generally there were far to few customers in the store when considering this is a big store on par in size with Tesco from the UK, or Geant or Carrefour from France, or any other number of large supermarket outlets around the world. I see comments here in the reviews which describe Ipercoop as moderate for product prices, either those reviewers have never been to a different supermarket or they are writing as paid reviewers because nothing about Ipercoop is moderately priced. A bargains area in the store offered a cheap assemble at home small single room wardrobe which looks identical to the cheap mass produced models sold in DIY stores for around 37 Euro, at sale price Ipercoop were asking 139 Euro's. A busy customer complaints and refunds desk was the center of activity in the store. Italians deserve better from a store, they deserve the correct prices for products, as a writer I feel highly motivated to ensure this store receives thousands of honest reviews till such time it's management understand that their idea of supermarket prices are unacceptable. This is an outlet I am willing to give limitless on line reviews about, I have a social conscience and when I see what I have seen I know it must be stopped. Suppliers of products to this store from all regions of the world will be informed about how much this store is asking from customers and those suppliers will be urged to challenge this or stop supplying unless they to want thousands of honest reviews about them on the WWW. I will not confine myself to reviewing via YELP unless they honestly publish my reviews, this is a good chance for YELP to prove themselves. In the meantime lets get the word press account busy as options for creating review websites are limitless.

Not interested in hunting around too much on a Monday evening, we walked here and had a great meal. Eataly is a complete Italian grocery store including butcher, dry goods, wine and beer, and more. As well, tables and counters for sit down eating. The menu includes a number of different options across the Italian dining spectrum but they will also, for example, cut a piece of beef and cook it to order for a small charge. We saw one table of what looked like a work meetup all getting custom steaks. We started off with a plate of the Farinata (a chickpea flour bread) to share and a bottle of red wine, then I had the Spaghetti Alla Colatura di Alici (anchovies, garlic, and more). It was super delicious but I had serious regrets after seeing the next table with the grilled squid that looked beyond amazing. For dessert, tiramisu was amazing as was the plate of three mini canoli followed by a limoncello liqueur. We slept great that night! [Review 17074 overall - 262 in Italy - 590 of 2022.]

It was conveniently within walking distance of our DoubleTree Hilton hotel. The layout and selection of items were very similar to what we're used to back home in Chicago. We stopped in for a late afternoon lunch or perhaps an early dinner, but unfortunately, the meal was underwhelming. My husband ordered the ribs, which arrived overcooked and dry. I had the tortellini, which was just okay and only slightly warm. The waiter was friendly. Perhaps it was just an off day for the kitchen, but overall, the food didn't quite live up to the Eataly name we're familiar with.
